Hello there 🤗! My skin never turned green but some of the jewelry itself has tarnished. I usually coat it with clear nail polish to help last longer 💕!

I hope you know the stones are plastic or glass and it's never solid sterling or stainless steel even if it says so
I say this because as a test i got two rings that said 925 sterling, and they were stamped but literally the first time i wore them the prongs turned brassy, all the stones were acrylic even when it said sapphire or amethyst and the stainless bracelet I ordered turned my wrist green in a few hours
Thank you for your comment Emily. Anyone reading it will help them to understand what they are buying. I purchased jewelry stamped 925 and it will last a few months then start to turn. I look at it as costume jewelry, not going to last long. But that’s the beauty of costume jewelry, it’s cheap…cheap made and cheap to buy! 😆😀

Thanks for the info.I watched most of the video and was hoping she would describe the quality. I suspected the jewelry is cheap,hence the cheap prices.But I would never want to buy plastic.Glass is ok as long as I know its glass.I would hate to buy something thinking its this or that and find out it isnt.
@Tempe1962 hello there 🤗! The jewelry from Temu is cheap costume jewelry. Similar to a Walmart or Claire’s. The main difference is temu is a fraction of the cost. It will eventually tarnish. I usually coat the jewelry with clear nail polish and it last a lot longer. Temu does offer some supposedly higher quality items but I can’t speak on that because I stick with mostly $5 or less. I hope this helped a little 😊!

Hi Debbie 🤗! Yes you are correct. For the most part It’s cheap costume jewelry. I’ve found some nice items though and I add some clear nail polish to help it last longer 💖

@@carrielarae Cadmium is a concern for jewelry coming from China when a ring with free shipping only costs 68c and the pressure to profit even off of that is so high. Cadmium leads to infertility, liver and kidney issues, and cancer. A level above 130 parts per million is considered unsafe. That’s 1% of 1%. Yet cbc canada tested jewelry sold in American malls and found 90%+ concentrations in some pieces. Luckily touching it isn’t the big problem. It’s mouthing jewelry items which children and people with oral fixations may do. If you know a jeweler ask them to test some pieces in an xrf /spectrometer machine and they can show you the percentage of different metals that show up. I avoid toxic metals by buying gold or silver but even then, 925 only means 92.5% pure silver. There’s no requirement for the other 7.5% to be something safe.
What's your ring measurement and the ring size you bought to have a rough idea on the size of mine.
Hello there 🤗! For my left hand I usually get an 8 and for my right a 9. Sometimes I get a 10 if I’m going to wear on my thumb or index finger because I have to get it over my knuckle 😆! Hope this helps 🥰!
