First, I am a car collector. Always loved corvettes as my first one was a 1962 C1. I purchased it way back in 1978. Still own it today, along with 6 other vettes, C2, C3, C4, C6, and my favorite, which is a C7 2019 ZR1 Coupe with the 3ZR trim package. I do own a 2022 C8 Z51 package with endless upgrades. I also was on the list at the same dealer for a Z06. After 18 months of no movement, I lost interest. So, I decided to treat myself to an upgrade instead. Just recently took delivery of my 2024 Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato Coupe AWD. It has 631 hp 5.2 V10. It is mind-blowing to say the least. Yes, the price sticker was twice as much as the Z06, but they are also not apples for apples! The Lambo is far superior. It's GM's loss! I am more than satisfied with the 22 C8 Z51 at a price point all in at $109,000k. I give GM credit for finally making the mid-engine. It was an 8 month wait for the 22' C8. 12k miles, no issues! I just don't agree with the approach that GM continued with post covid. I just can't wrap my head around C8 allocations and how the Z06 ate into the overall C8 allocations. My wife will just have to settle with her 2022 Ferrari F488 Pista. She's happy, so I am thrilled. The other perk is that she's hotter than her car! Enjoy your rides!
The calipers look awesome. I love the rapid blue with the bronze wheels, blk interior. This gen looks so good in all the colors. It's just a matter of how wild you want it to look. What a car. Well done.
Thank you. I agree. On my prior C8s I didn’t get painted calipers cause I kept telling myself I’d go it myself to cheaper. Then I never did it. So I just got it for the factory this time. Was a good decision
Very nice! I got price protected to, but then they added the ADM to that lower amount. I’m in the 800s on Ciocca’s list. Not sure if I’ll take it when it comes up. Looking more forward to the ZR1
I’m on my second and could have gotten a z06 ! It’s about knowing there’s more than the big dealers! I got mine at my dealership I’ve been dealing with for 20 years
I agree. I’ve only dealt with “local” dealers so far. I’m on lots of wait lists and would rather be #1 or #5 at a local dealer than #842 at some huge dealer.

Congrats ! sweet car, I just took delivery of my 24 in SEAWOLF GREY TRICOAT METALLIC and moved on from my 23 in RAPID BLUE. I traded in my 23 and got Msrp for it .They sold my 23 in 3 days for 35 over sticker .I paid MSRP For both 23 and 24 and used my points as a down payment so only paid 3548.00 to get into my 24. There's a few ways around getting deals on these but it requires owning one first. anyway enjoy your car brother
Thanks. Yeah good deal getting them for msrp. I had a #1 spot at an msrp dealer, then they flaked out. And none of the other msrp dealers I’m with have gotten to me yet. Looking back, I could have sold my 2023, then waited, but had I waited I wouldn’t have sold the 23 when I did. So isn’t ideal to pay over sticker, but I guess it is what it is.
