@@Ichigoat4896 It is. There’s even an interview where Horikoshi confirmed it in an interview. Although the movie doesn’t impact the main story that much even though it can add small bits of context in future arcs.
@@Ichigoat4896 technically cannon but doesn't really matter in terms of the story in the manga. Basically if you don't watch them you're not missing anything important. The second movie however is a little bit more connected to the main story.

Knowing about "Small Might" and knowing about One For All are two different things. Small Might was the result of a major injury All Might sustained five years before the event of the series. While he tries to hide it a number of people know about it, such as his doctors, a number of pro heroes, the UA facility, and a handful of others. At least in the double digits.
On the other hand the people to know about One For All is much more limited, as it wasn't necessary to explain One For All to explain the change to his body. Instead the number of people who know about it seems to be in the single digits.

@@TheReactPack They are three of them so far. My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising and My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission. I personally like Two Heroes more than Heroes Rising. But the second film is still very good
Dave knew about his injury and his weakened state, just like the rest of the teachers at UA. But only a select few know that his quirk was given to him and that it can be passed on
You got to remember....by the time Midoriya/Deku met All Might he was in his 50's.........He's held onto One for All for 40 years starting when he was 16......

This Movie falls right in the between of Season 2 and 3, so you are pretty much watch in chronological order, especially since this Movie released somewhere when Season 3 were still airing.

I'm dying cause you guys are so happy about watching this at the correct time, but they will have an advertisement for this movie at the end of S3E20 lmaoo. It does fall right here though chronologically so it is a good time to watch it 😁! Great job picking up on Dave being suss
There were a short OVA that got released alongside this Movie also, so I recommend watching it too, it’s OVA 3 because of the order of release.
If you guys love hero anime, Tiger and Bunny is a strong recommend. 24 episodes, 2 movies and a 2nd season due in April on Netflix.

At this point we've only seen 3 ppl as quirkless including Deku
Although it says that around 80 % have a quirk which means 20 % ppl should be quirkless
Unless you are counting All Might, it's still 2
Dave isn't quirkless. He just "doesn't have a hero type quirk". People tend to misunderstand Melissa saying "he didn't have a quirk that would let him be a hero" for Quirkless. It was explained in the oneshot manga Horikoshi made to go with the movie that Dave's quirk is that he has extra bendy fingers. That's it, no extension or anything, just bendy lol
@@TheSaharay1 So we've encountered 3 ppl who are or were quirkless : Melissa (quirkless), Deku (got OFA) and All might (passed on OFA so currently kinda quirkless)
No, Dave DOES have a Quirk, it just wasn’t a Quirk that could be used for Hero work.

if you want it to make sense I recommend watching the second movie after S5 (also forgot to add really can't wait for your reactions to S3, it's prob my favorite in the whole show)

This movie was great, bought and own it, but wish it had Shigaraki. Looking forward to your reaction to Heroes Rising, which i also own, and hopefully someday, World Heroes Mission, which i saw in theaters.
