😂 My DTNVS survived a high G accident recently, they flew off into a metal seat rail. The scars on the housing show some hard impacts but nothing broke. I’m pretty sure these will outlive you lol.

Real talk what kind of durability do say, the DTNVS have over PVS31A? Same? More breakable?

@@atacorion good to know. Still wish the DTNVS had manual gain and dedicated remote port. I have the Dicc for it but running 3 CR123As would be even cooler lol. I feel like AIB could smash all of those features in and still keep the thing rugged, lightweight and compact

Tnvc sold me of the DTNVGs then the DTNVS, still have my DTNVS although didn’t buy them from tnvc, got 31s sometime last year and haven’t had a problem we either. I have had some hard knocks with the DYNVS, one time I was running through a field and face planted into a ditch and one of my tubes in the DTNVS went dark… didn’t turn off just went dark like I had face planted a day cap on to it. Turn them off and back on still dark but a few seconds later it came back to life and never had another issue since then. Not sure what happened and I hate sending my tubes in and at that time I didn’t have a second set so definitely wasn’t sending them in if they were working. Didn’t buy the 31s from tnvc either. I like tnvc but you guys need to change your business operations. The whole not listing specs of tubes you get in and just saying trust us we will install the best tubes at a premium price and you will wait 10 weeks isn’t gonna work anymore. Not with how many competitors you have now that will list their specs and pictures of the tubes they get instock and send out an email every time they get new batches of tubes with zero waiting and knowing exactly what specs you get without charging an extra fee for (hand select) I’m glad to see these things changing and would like to see TNVC evolve with the times before it’s to late. I like tnvc they offer a lot of good shit and bring a lot to the market but people are starting to really not like the way they do business. Well says Reddit and all the European and Canadian teenage spoiled brats that run rampant on there.

@@atacorion I didn’t know you no longer worked for TNVC. Nothing misguided about mentioning how a certain company operates compared to how some other companies operate. No reason to get upset there Sam, nothing i said was attacking you or insulting you. I don’t think I said anything about you working for TNVC either but it’s not like me thinking of TNVC because I had watched one of your videos is extreme bro… you did work for them and were one of their most well known employees for a long time. I can understand your frustration if your tired of people associating you with that company. Did you have a negative fall out with them?
@@relentlessamerican9373 TNVC let’s folks select their tube specs, because of their lead times. They are popular for a reason. They don’t list tube specs because your tubes probably haven’t been manufactured if you order from them. They don’t charge a hand select fee and they have a lifetime warranty. Again I don’t work there.

@Emmanuel Goldstein not necessarily for me but both definitely have their places in the night vision world. They compliment each other. Don’t get me wrong I’d like to have a thermal and plan to make that happen but I’ll never give up my nods for it
@Emmanuel Goldstein fusion is the way to go. It might be expensive but these things hold their value pretty well anyways.
