[SMM1] Beating Paradise Plaza by Anthony (Hard Time Attack Level)

- This level was uncleared legitimately (it had a hacked clear by tasty).
It's a 2 minute NSMBU speedrun level that requires a lot of fast wall jumps and other TA strats. Since I knew the timer was relatively lenient, I could afford playing some parts in a safer way and still be on a good enough pace to beat it.

Thanks, I don't think there's actually any frame perfect inputs required for this, mainly very good consistency for 2 minutes. But sometimes, non frame perfect stuff can be harder than frame perfect stuff as well.
1:12 I had to read the title again just to confirm this is SMM1 because otherwise this would be so stupid to just put in the middle of the level

Over a second, but I knew I could afford it so I took many parts quite safe
How many levels are left? Also, do y’all still need lower-skilled players to get the easier stuff out of the way so the best players can focus on the harder stuff?

@@Bentheman24Dang. At this rate they’ll be done before my college gets to spring break, which would be the only time between now and the April 8 deadline where I could be of any potential help.
As the level count decreases, the average difficulty increases. The most us lesser skilled members can do is pray that we find a beatable level or help out in the routing of more complex levels

Wall sliding is annoying
Literally everything about this level was satisfying to watch, especially that slick POW walljump at the end! :O

I used to think he was a god player in precision, but it’s way more than just precision. The kaizo skills / tech is also insane.

The amount of tricks I’ve never seen before here is crazy. You have amazing skill but also knowledge of the tiniest mechanics to optimize time

They hella nerfed the ground pound in SMM2, the gp at 0:35 for example is absolutely impossible in SMM2 lol

I did a few more hard levels for 0% and I'll upload videos for them soon, but now I'm about to come back to Trials of Death to keep learning and practicing it and grind it to eventually beat it.

My question: How would you know if it "had a hacked clear"? Does that make it a uncleared level or not? Thanks.
Things like the clear time of the player (if it's 99:59.999 in a level with no checkpoints, that means the player was banned due to cheating) or player stats make many hacked clears obvious.

Interestingly there were a lot of wall slides even in this clear. I imagine with even more precise wall kicks it could be cleared slightly faster. That said, i know this game style's wall kicks are ANNOYING due to the slide amount required before you can actually jump off it.
Yeah, I took certain parts or wall jumps pretty safe since I knew the timer was lenient enough.
After playing many speedrun levels myself, I shudder to think how long this would take me. Another fantastic clear, well done
