Thanks for replying you make a great video! I have been targeting the Cherokee 26rl- l and I have seen that model in the 20/20 line for 27400 that's a neat little trailer you showed thanks again Scott Downing cross-country truck driver out of Bakersfield California currently in Phoenix Arizona
Nice unit , but Forest River should upgrade those inaccurate thermostats , i have a 2022 Mini Lite 2205s on order and the first thing i will do is replace the thermostat !
Another great video presentation! Can you hook up multiple solar panels? Like say 4 thanks again Scott Downing cross-country truck driver out of Bakersfield California what's the MSRP on this unit?
Thanks Scott! There is opportunity for solar expansion, but depending on what you are trying to accomplish it may require replacing some other componentry as well. The current MSRP of this RV is $38,930. We say "current MSRP" because we have seen the prices from the manufacturers go up month over month due to international shipping price increases, shortages, and other influencing factors as a result of the pandemic.
Really love this RV. Hope they still offer it in 2022. Saving up for it as we want to retire soon. Let me know. I'm from Texas so we are not too far from you guys.
Awesome! This is a great little RV for big adventures, we have not heard anything from Rockwood about discontinuing this particular model, so you could be in luck!
@@Southern_RV Now they've done it LOL. Rockwood has a 2513 that's even better. Should I order one, and have it go through your dealership, will you install the slide covers on it? Also would like to get build pricing. I am in Texas. What is your Email address?
@@michaelburke9153 we can install the slide toppers if they are not available direct from the factory. Shoot us an email at sales@southernrv.com and we'll get the conversation started!
The problem with Rockwood is that so many of their trailers have a 74 inch RV length queen bed, even as many other manufacturers now have residential-size 60x80 inch queen beds. This is important to us taller guys and eliminates Rockwood from any further consideration.
This is model specific though! If you take a closer look at the full line up of floor plans, you'll find that quite a few have the traditional 60x80 queen bed. Even in the mini-lites! Another point to consider is that even in the model shown here that does have the shorter bed, our host Barry (who is 6' 3") can still sleep on it because the end does not but up against a wall, granted his feet hang off the end a bit.
Hey Tom, If you are referring to keeping the water tanks from freezing they are equipped with 12v heating pads. Also, the electric fireplace and furnace are more than capable of keeping the unit warm and cozy in the winter.
No way to gets to the water tanks underneath and I would like to eliminate Gass so ie there a big enough solar panel to do that to power the whole trailer
Forest River Rockwood does not currently show an option for this substitution at this time. If it is a must have for you, a custom booth can be built and installed.
Hi Duncan, some parks offer cable tv at the dock and if you're carrying some coaxial cable all you have to do is plug in. The model in this video sold for $36,479 (before tax, tag, title).
More solar could potentially be added. The issue you run into though (especially with these smaller trailers) is cargo capacity. The RV can only have so much weight added back to it before it becomes an issue and when adding more panels it's typically paired with adding more battery reserves and a better charge controller. All of this adds a significant amount of weight to the RV and reduces your cargo capacity for the things you may need on a long trip. So the short answer is yes, but there are quite a few factors to consider before going forward with it!

That's a whole lot of goodness wrapped up in a small package! Another great tour, thank you Barry!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I enjoyed what you are doing, I'm really like
I also would put thermal barrier & sound for under bedroom and other compartments

Do you have any links to the 2022 that you can leave for me. I know it may not be a great time. But thanks for your time and help 👋

They need to make a way to get the tanks underneath the trailer and add a stove jack

What is behind the cabinet door in the outside pass thru storage area?
Quick access to plumbing, the water input lines for the camper are located right there.
How travel friendly is it? ie, usable with slides in, for an over night stop.
With this layout, the bedroom is inaccessible with the slide in (bathroom and kitchen can be accessed).
What is the gvw on the unit?
Hey Larry, the GVW on this unit is 6,874 lbs. This as well as the other specs of the unit are shown at 00:42.
Is this available with a U shaped dinette instead of theater recliners?

Who uses cable or satellite TV, how much this unit all dressed up
