About time someone knows how to position a lever valve. It’s my pet hate at work and watching other RUclipsrs put in valves up so down makes my blood boil 😂

Some nice work there Tom ..would you need a bigger nozzle on your blow torch for that bigger copper gas pipe .justva thought .
Electricians never about when you need one 😂😂.
But at least you got it wired up temporarily so you can check the system .save having to come back later .
That over little job went well .👍👍👍👍

Thanks for the support as always John, I use the yellow gas because it heats the bigger fittings quicker, sometimes they do feel loose so I find they tend to leak more than the smaller sizes

Great video with a nice range of jobs. The commercial stuff is pretty interesting with all the large bore piping. That gas solenoid is a pretty impressive bit of kit.
Also nice work by Jacob, who is very lucky to have you as a mentor!

Like when he does commercial vids. Would like to see him delve more and more into that area as his skill deserves to be working on huge important buildings.

Hi Tom, another great film there thank you, some nice big pipe and fittings there to get a grip of.
That size of copper pipe and fittings must be very expensive to buy these days. Have a great weekend
and as always take care. 👍👍👍

Another great video Tom. I love the authenticity of your work mate. I'm the rare breed Sparky who retrained as a gas engineer. So basically I know nothing 😂. Keep up the good work. Happy Friday.

Thanks for the support as always Rob, electrics is one area where I sometimes struggle, I've picked bits up over the years and know what to look out for on heating systems now but I always think there should be a bit more electrics on the plumbing courses, all I did was safe isolation, it would have been good to leave college with a knowledge of basic heating wiring

@@PlumbLikeTom You are Spot on Tom. I have been lucky and worked for the same company for 40 years. Started as an indentured Apprentice Electrician. The big problem our company had was lack of electrical knowledge on the Gas side of our engineers. So the company decided to retrain Electricians as Gas engineers. It sort of worked.

I'm doing it the opposite way. Plumbing, gas, mechanical then now training to be a Sparky. Either way we have to invade all trades right. Sparkies at work are not impressed that I'm about to tred on their territory.
