Those quakers! I didn't know how much I loved that style, but the more I see, the more I'm drawn to them. The spring is fun, but the summer is amazing! Thank you for sharing.
You got me in trouble. Lol. I immediately had to go buy the summer quaker. I didn't even try to talk myself out of it. 😆. It will be my first quaker and I'm so excited. You're my newest enabler. 😆

Hi Samantha! Wow! What a great video and stitching time with you today! I always love when you post a new flosstube! Yes, it’s fun to see how other people stitch, and do things different and I’m the same way trying to figure how some things are done, it’s just a brain thing! You’re so blessed to have a friend like you have....a true treasure! It would be fun for you to have her on sometime and showcase her work! Your Mira’s are fabulous! Real works of art Samantha! I died laughing about the invisible thread journey! You are so fun and sweet! I do like your new haircut with the layers, hope you do too. Have a fun stitchy week, and p.s. I now have to get Spring Quaker, I love it!
Hi! How have I not found your channel before now?! Loved your video. In fact, I paused it so I could go purchase the Spring and Summer Quaker. 😂. I have Shakespeare’s Fairies completely kitted up and want to start it this summer. It’s so beautiful! Thank you for sharing your stitching. It’s all beautiful! Happy stitching 💜
Lovely video, thanks for keeping me company whilst I stitched this morning. The fairies are gorgeous, I'm very tempted to see if I can get the patterns. Have a great week ❤
Samantha, I was so excited to see your Petal and Bliss fairies. I bought the kit for Bliss fairy and had been intending to get Petal fairy to do exactly as you’re intending to do, so it was great to get a preview of what the 2 next to each other will look like. I’ve just started my first Mirabilia - Nora Corbett’s Faerie Summer Love and am enjoying every minute of it so far. Thank you for showing all your beautiful wips and some of your finishes. I love your enthusiasm and can’t wait for the next instalment 🥰
Thanks again Samantha! Love love love watching you! I still haven't done a Mira yet but love seeing that you love them! Joanna from Vancouver Island, not too far from where your friend is :)
You killed me tonight!! I want every stitch you have done or want to do! Thank you so much so your details regarding stitching Miras and your storage systems. You are my favorite- I love your enthusiasm and sincerity! I wish I could be that friend that lived near you to stitch with..😊 Buffalo, NY I look forward to you next video.
My gosh!!! You Summer Night Fairy on the fabric you chose to stitch her one is . . . breathtaking!!!! WOW!!!! You did an absolutely gorgeous job stitching her! Again, it is the PERFECT fabric!!! WOW!!! Congratulations!!! On, yes! I would also look at her DAILY!!!! WOW!!! Yes, again!!! WOW!!!! The photo in the pattern does NOT do the finished piece any justice!!!! NO! Her face is gorgeous!!! Perfection!!!! You did amazing!!!!! I'd LOVE to stitch that piece exactly as you did!!! I am DROOLING over her!!!!! The purple ribbon really attracts attention!!! Yes! The wings are . . . there are no words they're perfect!!!!! Sooooo beautiful!!! I also LOVE Miribilia!!! Sooooo breathtaking!!! I LOVE fairies!!!! Beaded and sparkly fairies!!! Hi Laurie! I thoroughly enjoyed reading your comments, thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I so appreciate your delightful response to seeing midsummer’s night fairy. I agree and it’s now at the top of the pile to be framed next! I’ll be back next week for an exciting update very soon and I hope you will join me for another visit. Until then happy stitching. -Samantha 🦋
So lovely to watch and stitch along. It's Mother's Day here in the UK and I had the treat of a new start and your flosstube in peace with breakfast made for me. Thank you sweet Samantha 💐🙏
I really enjoyed your Mirabilia talk. It’s great to see how you store all the elements- beads, kreinik etc. I’ve messed about for years trying to find better ways. It sounds to me like we might stitch the same way- and I also hate going UP! But I often want to start in the middle to be sure my Mirabilia is centred properly. Many years ago I tried turning everything upside down and I still sometimes do it, but I do notice the stitches sit a little differently for me😊, so I keep my upside down stitching to a minimum. I also taught my daughter to stitch- but she’s left handed and I’m right handed so it was a complete disaster until I found a video of a left hander for her to watch. She’s sorted out her own way now, like your daughter, and does beautiful stitching. 😊Still needs help sometimes 😉. Your lovely videos are always a delight. I look forward to them every time.👍. Susan in Australia.
Hello! I just love your floss tube. I am inspired and entertained. Plus your energy is so positive. Would you consider showing/telling how you do your beading. Sometimes I find that beads don’t quite fit on 32 count. Thank you again!
Lovely flosstube as always and your Spring Quaker is looking SO good. Doing 2 over 2 is really giving it depth and saturation. Like you I'm fascinated by how different the same design can look! And I think we all enjoy your flosstubes as much as you do - the more the merrier! 😃
Would you PLEASE make a video showing how you stitch on linen? I'd love to see you in action. Plus, you're absolutely one of my favourite RUclipsrs - my favourite Canadian for sure ;)
I dont think I've met a fellow stitcher in person here in the UK, although there are a few of us :) I love though that I can spend a while on flosstube visiting....I loved the story about the invisible thread, my daughter asked what I was laughing at!
Hi Samantha! You have become my favorite floss tuber. Love your Mira's. I have 4 Mira's to stitch. Trying to finish current WIPS before i can concentrate on my ladies. It kills me that yours r sitting in a drawer but i do love them when u bring them out!
Samantha, loved your cross stitching…it is so delightful…loved everything you shared…it was great to see all your stitching aides and storage containers…loved the story of your invisible thread for beading…I am grateful for everyone who has helped me achieve a better way to stitch, bead, knit, crochet and quilt…thank you for all your great information on your crafts…wishing you the best and happy stitching ❤❤
Hi Loretta, I so enjoyed reading your comments, thank you so much for watching. I’m making great progress on my Mira’s and I can’t wait to show you all. I had the best time filming this episode and I plan to be back soon. Until then happy stitching. -Samantha 🦋
Thanks for another great flosstue and thanks for sharing your Mirabilias. I am working on my first one: The Three Mermaids. It has been challenging for me but fun. I also imediately put Summer Quaker on my wish list. I'm stitching 100 Owls from Owl Forest, another one of their free former SALs. Hope to do Emerald City and Alice eventually. So many charts, so little time! Happy stitching!
Samantha, I love when your next video is up! Your enthusiasm is so catching…always happy and smiling 😊…I loved seeing all of your beautiful Mira’s…they are all stunning! Till next time thank you for sharing your time and talents!
I loved seeing your Mirabelia’s! I wish I could see them in person; I bet they are even more beautiful! I have only seen them in videos and pictures as I don’t personally know anyone who has stitched one and don’t have an LNS that really has a great display. I have never done one but I keep feeling the urge to try one. I was really happy when you said Petal Fairy would be a good first one. I also enjoyed hearing about your organization. Thanks for all the great info!
Love to see your video.. your Mirabilandia are stunning 😍😍 I'd like to see other people and how they stich but I can't.. so I'm always so interested in video were you explain so I can get lots of informations. I hand stitch like you from top to bottom and always turn my fabric if I need. Hope you'll do a video where you explain Ihow to stich on linen and tips 😂
Thank you for sharing your beautiful work! And thank you for enabling me! That Summer Quaker is calling me! I’ve been wanting to start a pattern like this for a long time. I am an east coaster living in Ottawa, and this will bring a little bit of ‘home’ to my home. 😊
Your Mirabilia are gorgeous!!!! I never got tired of looking at them. I also use the same magnet board and the magnet strip to keep my place. If i am working down I place the magnet strip just below the line I am stitching and continue to move it down. Just like you do. Them when I am stitching towards the top of the pattern , I place the magnet strip above the line of stitching I am on and continue moving it up as I stitch and am able to see all my previous stitching. I don't know if this will save you from flipping everything up side down or not. I enjoy all your videos and look forward to seeing you again, take care.
Hello Samantha! I want to stitch the Lila's Studio Summer Quaker and join you for your birthday start! I haven't stitched a whale or a Lila's Studio yet! Your OFE Alice is so beautiful! I think I'm going to have to watch you show it on the big screen for full variegated floss effect! Love those Mira fairies and what you said about the color blocks makes complete sense . There's still detail , but the color blocks are a lovely break from the more complicated figuring. 😆 (for me anyway!) Excellent episode, as usual! Love to have our visits! 😉❤🪡 Thanks for spending your time to share your stitching and your lovely personality! You are one of my all-time favorite Flosstubers too! 🥰🥳
Great flosstube! If you have the space where you store your completed pieces, you might want to consider using a cross stitch 'project roll'. Vonna Pfeiffer has a tutorial on how to make one...and gives you the reasons behind storing you completed pieces in them...mainly to not have creases as they await their frame-day! You can store more than one in a roll. Etsy carries many handmade ones. / Regarding flipping your chart and linen and stitching upside down...I'd heard this mentioned a few years back and didn't really grasp why someone would do that. But as I sat here stitching 'with you'...I reflected on my frustration with stitching 'up'. I like to stitch 'down'. So an upper L corner is my strong preference, never the center. NOW I see that I can begin at the center etc and still stitch 'down' both ways. Thanks...this will be a huge help!!!
I have three mermaids on my bedroom wall it's such a pleasure to wake up and see them each morning. I'm just finishing my fourth the three mermaids. All ways look forward to your video such beautiful work
Oh yes, you totally sounded Canadian when you said Eh/Hey. 😀I love that you stitched MidSummer Night Fairy on that beautiful mottled fabric. I think it adds so much more to a Mirabilia. HA HA HA. Yes, keep showing it to us until we say Hey Samantha, go frame that beauty. I have to say I love how organized you are. You already have your stitched piece clipped to a board and ready to show us. No wrangling a big piece of linen. I really appreciate that. And yes your Mira's are beautiful and thank you for sharing them. Have a fun evening at the Guild.
Really enjoyed seeing your floss tube early, early this morning! What a positive way to start the day!! I love, love the Summer Quaker and will be ordering that one to stitch for my daughter! Having you share your tips and the way you stitch, store, and plan was very helpful! Can’t wait to see you again!
Glad you enjoyed it Sarah! Thank you for your kind words as it keeps me inspired to create. I’m thrilled we get to know each other through flosstube!!! See you again soon -Samantha 🦋
Great progress. And I have also my chart upside down when I start stitching with page 1. But when I start right below than I stitch the "right" way. Happy stitching!
Your Midsummer Night Fairy is stunning! And your Spring and Bliss fairies look so good together, I definitely hope you can get them framed and on the wall soon. Thanks for your fun video! Happy stitching.
Hi Samantha, I’m cheering you on for your Spring Quaker goals! And yes, Summer Quaker is amazing!! I hadn’t seen that one yet, so thanks for sharing! I can hear your Canadian accent and I’m Canadian (Ontario) haha!! Love it
I'm so happy to have found you! I'm a new subscriber and really enjoying your videos. I have never stitched a Mira before but thats about to change! Thank you for your joy and enthusiasm for this fun craft! Off to watch more of you! 🏵
I just love watching your videos! I went back and have binge watched all your previous videos and am now finally caught up! Summer Quaker is my favorite from market too and will be my birthday start in July, I can't wait to stitch it!
i stumbled across your flosstube and subscribed immediately ❤. Just want to add that Grace is gorgeous 💗. She has a beautiful smile just like her mommy and mimi. Looking forward to more videos from you ladies❤
Your story of the beading thread cracked me up! I thought you were going to say it was still attached when you got home! Ha ha... Love seeing all the Mira's, my favourite! I too saw the Vonna flosstube she always gives great information. Great video.....looking forward to the next one!
Your Mirabilia pieces are stunning!!! I had to get the Petal Fairy!!! Alice is such a gorgeous and fun sampler!!! Thanks so much for sharing your storage system for your kitted Mira's and for the beads and Kreinik. I do need to do something better with my beads so this is great food for thought. Thanks so much Samantha!! You are such a joy to visit with and I so look forward to your videos!! Happy Mira month!!!
Thank you so much Wanda! Petal fairy is the BEST you will love every stitch. I’m so glad you enjoyed the episode and my storage idea. I’ll be back soon. Take care -Samantha ❤️
This was an excellent episode! Your passion for stitching really came through. I may have to try a Mirabilia after watching today. And the Lila Studio's Quakers are a must!
Love your flosstube and your Mirabilia... rekindled my urge to finish 2 I have as wips. What I find frustrating is the bead package which I tend to spill all over when I open the mill hill plastic package
I‘m in love with the summer quaker by Lila‘s Studio too. I already bought the Spring Quaker, but haven‘t started it yet. It was fun to see yours. I also enjoyed seeing your Mirabilias. I loved stitching Shakespeare‘s Fairies and enjoy them on my wall every day.🙋🏻♀️
Hi Brigitte!! Sounds like we already have a similar taste for designs we like to to stitch! I wanted to thank you for taking the time to comment as it was fun to read yours. I’m glad you enjoyed the video and I hope you will come back again soon. -Samantha 🦋
Hi Karin! I’m so happy to see you have come to visit with me again! Yay, let’s have some fun! I’m feeling a new stitch along is a must for Summer Quaker with a possible start in August. I’ll be back very soon with a new exciting video so we can visit together again! Until then happy stitching. -Samantha 🦋
Hello from BC! Lovely to see a fellow Canadian here! I am relatively new to cross stitch but have been sewing all my life. I also stitch in hand with my needle down and turning the fabric upside down was an eureka moment! Of course, so simple. I am working up the courage to start my first mirabilia! An interesting bit of stitching history for you, I went to a church jumble sale with my friend today and found a beautiful cross stitch frame from Eatons. It was with a couple of vintage patterns from Jean McIntosh Ltd, Needlework, Winnipeg and they were dated 1972! So they have a new home now. I really enjoy your videos too, keep on inspiring us!
I love love your Mirabila’s. Your 2 fairies with the half hearts are beautiful. When you get them framed I think they it would be beautiful if you have the mats cut like the half heart so they come together. Just a thought. Thank you for another great video always look forward to them.
Thank you so much Nancy! I hope you will come back and visit again when you would like some company while you stitch, until then happy stitching. -Samantha 🦋
Hi Samantha - yes it was great to see you at the meeting on Thursday. I was thinking the same thing about Lila's Studio - there should be a winter and an autumn one. Those 2 "matching" fairies - I can't wait until you get those framed and placed on your wall. The yellow-skirted one is a bit longer I think so that might make it hard to adjust so that they are both lined up. But the framer should be able to do something about that. Good luck.
What gorgeous Mira’s!! Love your stitching. I am also doing the Spring Quaker and enjoying it very much. I’ve just found your flosstube and will certainly subscribe, I’m looking forward to watching your progress.
Wish I had a stichy friend like you. Wow, those mirabilia's are stunning. I've done siren and the shipwreck and petal fairy. I'd love to do mooka too keep the floss tubes coming your amazing 👏
Hi Samantha! I too saw the new Lila’s Studio Summer Quaker on Instagram and immediately headed over to Etsy to pre-order my copy! Any my birthday is in the summer, so maybe this will be my birthday start as well! I love the look of 2x2 on 36 count on your Spring Quaker - the colors look so rich and beautiful! Happy stitching!😊
Thank you so much Bettye! I’m so glad you enjoyed your visit. I’ll be back soon to share my progress on my Mira’s. until then happy stitching. -Samantha 🦋
Those Miras are definitely meant to be together, however you decide to frame them. Have you considered framing your Miras in one frame with a mat around each of them to separate them? I have a non-stitched piece where I had them framed in that fashion so that they are together. Something to consider, but not something you'll be able to separate without removing them from the frame if you ever want to gift the pieces to others.
I am with you…that Summer Quaker is fabulous and my favorite market release. It will be very popular, I’m sure! Loved seeing your organization and hearing about the way you stitch in hand. My needle points down and I can’t imagine doing it pointed up! So fascinating how everyone has their own technique. I have tried upside down once in awhile but it still makes me nervous. :) You have so much done on your Spring Quaker! I can’t wait to get to the bunnies. I only do about five days a month, but try to get a page done each time. Just finished my third page. Have a great March!
You are my favourite FlossTuber Samantha - I get so excited when I see your videos because I know I’m in for a nice, relaxing stitchy time with you. You and Maggie of Kitschy WIPS both inspired me to start my first Mira and now I’m working on my first Nora. So I am stitching Dew Drops from the Pond Pixie collection while I watch you and I’m loving every stitch. All of your Miras are gorgeous. I have the Siren and the Shipwreck all kitted up - once I choose a fabric for her she will be my next Mira when I’m done Autumn in my Garden. So I guess I better get on that because your Siren is amazing!!!! I also love the new Summer Quaker pattern. It’s funny you say it reminded you of your Map of HRH because it immediately reminded me of Shores of HRH which I am still working on. I think the Summer Quaker would be a nice companion piece with my Shores. Anyway, loved your video and hope you get lots of stitchy time in this weekend.
When you said "Eh?" I laughed before you even said "I don't have an accent." LOL. I like your accent. Thanks for the tip on the first Mirabilia because I have been wanting to start but I tend to start on the hardest one and quit...when I start something;). I am from Florida and knit, crochet and cross stitch and starting to quilt...I tend to quit crochet and knit in the warmer months as 90 degree weather doesn't inspire me....but as you mentioned your techniques, I knit and crochet completely differently than most because my grandmother taught me and told me to hold my hands "what feels best for me" hence why I have no wrist or hand issues...so when my friends want me to "teach them" I don't because it's such a motion by "touch" I can't really teach them...believe me, I have tried;). I don't have any crafty friends here so I enjoy your videos so much because like you said, I cross stitch while I watch you feeling like I am in the room with you. Thanks so much!
Absolutely loved your flosstube!! I don’t stitch Mirabilia’s “yet” so I so love seeing yours!! They are so beautiful! And, yes, I love hearing how other people stitch!! Question: are either you or your daughter left-handed? My granddaughter is a leftie and when I taught her to stitch, she was inclined to do her stitches the opposite way I do. I think she was mirror-imaging my stitching. There are so many beautiful new releases! I had a really hard time! Happy stitching!!
First off - you are my favorite floss tuber!! You know the one you get excited about when you see a new one uploaded ❤. Second - you also are my favorite enabler 😂 Preordered the Summer Quaker 😳
🌸hi, I'm new to your channel , had a year break from stitching and watching flosstube and I looobe your videos . So far I watched 3 of them and I'm sure I'll catch up on all of them over thr weekend 😊 love your positive energy and your stitching. I'm also a hygge and Nora Corbett fan ..have a lovely day
Now I really want to go and get my Ivy out. I've got most of the beading still to do and it's not my favourite, but after watching you and being so excited about your beads I want to go and finish her so I can start another one
Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to let me know that you visited. I’m so glad you found my channel as it sounds like we already have a lot in common!! I’ll be back next week with a new episode as I have completed a ton of Mira stitching that I think you will enjoy. 😊 I hope you are enjoying Ivy she’s always been a favourite design of mine!! Happy Stitching -Samantha
I just found your flosstube today, and I am now a subscriber. Just loved your flosstube and your gorgeous stitching. Now I need to get the Summer Quaker pattern! :)
I am always happy to watch you. Because of your enthusiastic presentation, everything you stitch has so much joy. That makes the viewers want to stitch everything your stitching and enjoyment from just listening and watching. I love hearing all different accents from around the world. ❤Happy Stitching Samantha.🧵🪡
Hi Caryl! Thank you so very much for all your comments. It truly means a lot as I do put in a lot of effort so that it’s enjoyable for views to watch. I often think to myself …, what do I like to watch from other channels then create what I would want to see. If that makes sense. Anyways I appreciate you noticing!! It keeps me inspired to create more often. ❤️
I love your videos. It gives me courage to stitch complex designs.
The two Fairies are so BEAUTIFUL and wll look just stunnng hanging together , they shoul dnot be in a drawer!!! find some funds LOL REally enjoy listening to you Happy Stitching
Those quakers! I didn't know how much I loved that style, but the more I see, the more I'm drawn to them. The spring is fun, but the summer is amazing! Thank you for sharing.
Loved you video, thank you, I new here but for sure will keep watching your content, loved also the Alice in wonderland 🎉🎉🎉

Enjoyed seeing all of your Miribilia finishes and upcoming ones you are going to start. So beautiful. And the Quakers are lovely, too.
Thank you so much Jill, I’m so glad you are enjoying my corner of flosstube. Thank you for joining me!! -Samantha 🦋
😆 (for me anyway!)
Excellent episode, as usual!
Thank you so much Susan! You made my day as well. I’m already dreaming up my next episode. See you soon, until then happy stitching.
- Samantha 🦋
I loved seeing your Mirabilia collection. I use the same tic tac containers Vonna uses and I really like them.
Great video as usual your stitching is absolutely gorgeous. Those Mirabilia’s are beautiful.

@@HyggeStitcher ❤️
Great progress. And I have also my chart upside down when I start stitching with page 1. But when I start right below than I stitch the "right" way. Happy stitching!
Your Midsummer Night Fairy is stunning! And your Spring and Bliss fairies look so good together, I definitely hope you can get them framed and on the wall soon. Thanks for your fun video! Happy stitching.
I absolutely love your channel! This episode is the very best so far ❤️

I just discovered your flosstube and binged them all. You enabled me to finally buy spring Quaker and summer Quaker fell in my cart.
Thank you so much Courtney !!
Your story of the beading thread cracked me up! I thought you were going to say it was still attached when you got home! Ha ha... Love seeing all the Mira's, my favourite! I too saw the Vonna flosstube she always gives great information. Great video.....looking forward to the next one!
Your Mira’s are SUPERB ❤❤ love your floss tube You are so inspirational!
Thank you ☺️ Fairy Idyl is the biggest Mira I have stitched.
-Samantha 🦋
Love all your finishes and your progress on your wips. Your finishes are amazing. You got me this time, preordered the summer quaker. Happy stitching!
Hi Karin! I’m so happy to see you have come to visit with me again! Yay, let’s have some fun! I’m feeling a new stitch along is a must for Summer Quaker with a possible start in August. I’ll be back very soon with a new exciting video so we can visit together again! Until then happy stitching.
-Samantha 🦋
@@HyggeStitcher Sounds good.
The fairies are so beautiful .& inspiring! Now I would like to do them, also.!
Go for it Cheryl !! You won’t regret it. Thank you so much for watching. See you again soon. -Samantha 🦋
Love to stitch along with your flosstube. I have done the Christmas Quaker and the Halloween one is next. I enjoy watching you.
I love love your Mirabila’s. Your 2 fairies with the half hearts are beautiful. When you get them framed I think they it would be beautiful if you have the mats cut like the half heart so they come together. Just a thought. Thank you for another great video always look forward to them.
Your work is beautiful!!
Thank you so much Nancy! I hope you will come back and visit again when you would like some company while you stitch, until then happy stitching. -Samantha 🦋
Beautiful Mira’s!
Thank you so much Terri🦋
Hi Samantha - yes it was great to see you at the meeting on Thursday. I was thinking the same thing about Lila's Studio - there should be a winter and an autumn one. Those 2 "matching" fairies - I can't wait until you get those framed and placed on your wall. The yellow-skirted one is a bit longer I think so that might make it hard to adjust so that they are both lined up. But the framer should be able to do something about that. Good luck.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching Carla 🦋!! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. See you again next time. -Samantha
That is so funny!!!🤩
Thank you so much for watching Deborah! See you soon.
-Samantha 🦋
What gorgeous Mira’s!! Love your stitching. I am also doing the Spring Quaker and enjoying it very much. I’ve just found your flosstube and will certainly subscribe, I’m looking forward to watching your progress.
Sandra, Thank you so much for watching and for leaving me a lovely comment! I’m dreaming up my next video so see you again soon. -Samantha 🦋

Me too! 😆 My bday is the first day of summer
Love all of your Quakers. I have Halloween and Christmas ones. You have enspired me to get a Mira. Fun video.
I enjoy your podcast and I don't have many stitching friends but my goal is yo do a Mirabilla one day
Spring quaker is looking really great! 🦋🌻
Thanks! I’m excited to share with you just how far I have completed over the past month! See you soon
Just happened on your video. Really enjoyed your Quakers. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it Sandy !! I hope you will pop over again the next time you are stitching and would like some company. Take care -Samantha 🦋
I loved seeing all your wips. Alice in Wonderland is my next large project, and I can't wait.
Thank you so much Georgie! I’m excited for you , Alice is so fun to stitch.
love your blog!
Thank you so much Ruth ❤️!!
I just love your enthusiasm. Such beautiful work.😊
First off - you are my favorite floss tuber!!
I'm also a hygge and Nora Corbett fan ..have a lovely day
Oh and I am in hand stitcher and my needle also always point down 👇 😅
Now I really want to go and get my Ivy out.
Happy Stitching
-Samantha
