greatest story I have: waiting by the busses after their concert at the roxy just wanting to wave as they get on the bus. 15 minutes go by and I don’t see anyone so I start asking around and meet who i later found out was their photographer. he asked me “what I wanted to know” to which I said just which bus belonged to dispatch. I had gotten OAR’s setlist but really wanted a dispatch one, and when he asked me if I wanted to see dispatch’s bus and maybe a setlist of course I followed. dude gave me a signed setlist from a few nights before. I was over the moon. He goes in the bus and brings me that nights setlist and got two of the guys to sign it, THEN the second drummer who’s name I can’t recall for the life of me came out with a set of signed drumsticks and signed my setlist, super chill and kind guy. The photographer tells me he told brad and chad I was out there and just to wait they should be out soon, so I did. Brad was the first to come out and man he was so awesome! He was so kind to my dad and I. We chatted for about 10 minutes and he signed my setlist. Later on, Chad came out and once again- so incredible. I introduced myself and he said “I REMEMBER YOU! You knew every word to painted yellow lines! I told the band there was this girl who knew all the words!” holy cow, having your favorite singer recognize you after the show from the stage?! insane. I then explained how much their music and specifically that song means to me and we talked for a bit. Overall: greatest night of my life and the most kind and caring people you could ever meet!!
