Yuto is used to Japanese crowds they love energy and don't focus much on the music just the technique and special effects...but I prefer Miles Medina his song choice is a lot better.

Actually part of being a DJ is how you work the crowd. Miles whole set was in the moment while Yuto must have thought he was in a club....

YUTO is super talented but you couldn't really bob your head to any of his performance, the beat was super inconsistent.

Yuto had the cultural disadvantage. All he had was throwing up the middle finger. Yuto's skills were better, but Miles connected with the crowd with song familiarity and structure. Props to both.

If it was in Brooklyn then Miles Medina wins. They both did different style DJ and Yuto did pop cultural style DJ where he focused on music not giving shot to his contender and Miles Medina did underground diss style DJ and gave Yuto a jab with his music. I think they both did good but one had crowd and other had performance which in this case this is head to head duel style DJ so the crowd control wins and Miles Medina hiphop diss style track attracted the crowd and for performance Yuto might be the better one. I'm not DJ just regular internet random guy and I just gave my opinion but I liked both because they both did different style
Miles knows how a dj battle is supposed to be performed, he brought the fucking heat. You have to think about the audience before the battles and find some cheesy hype shit like the Back to the future theme song before your beat plays, you know?

Yuto's set was more technical but in the end Miles set you can kinda get into a groove with so i think that made Yuto loose. If it was pure technical skills i think Yuto would have taken it.

Thats what I will never like about DJ battles, I get why they are about technique and how you can switch between different effects/elements in the blink of an eye, but that dont mean your song will come out fire. Yutos had more skill on the deck, but nobody wants to hear that for more than 3 minutes during a live music performance
