Music quality and innovations really went down after Michael's death...there's no one out there to explode music industry like he did. Thank you for your videos!
If you got your hands on a Roland D-50 or D-05 you'd find all the Smooth Criminal/BAD album sounds up there. That's the keyboard that was used heavily to create his sound for that album.
13:42 - *1st Verse* "As he came into the window, it was the sound of a crescendo He came into he apartment, He left the blood stains on the carpet She ran underneath the table, He could see she was unable So she ran into the bedroom. She was struck down. It was her doom." *2nd Verse* "So they came into the out way. It was Sunday. What a black day. Every time I tried to find him. There were no clues left behind him. And they had no way of knowing other suspects/uh-the suspect. What to expect." (**These couplets were cut from the album/radio version for some reason. I've only heard these lyrics in the Moonwalker movie/full nearly 10-minute version.) "Mouth-to-mouth resuscitation Sounding heartbeats. Intimidations" That's what I hear. Don't ask me what half these rappers are saying these days though. lol
Im also one who couldn't understand just loved the music and the feeling it gave me, he could have been saying anything I would still dance haha. Bless you brother

A suggestion if I may Dillio: It'd probably be better if you wouldn't play the finished product at the beginning of the video, it takes away from the anticipation. With that being said, I've been loving the remakes bro! "I Can't Help It" by MJ would be a good one to remake 👌🏾
personally I think playing the finished product at the begining of the video makes me more excited to watch the whole remake, the whole process that leads to the finished product, that's what I'm interested in.
@@mohameddhaouedi4355 exactly. I mean we already know the finished product because you’ve had to obviously heard the original song ... so playing his take of the original at the beginning entices you to watch how he put it together
Very nice. I grew up never understanding many lyrics. The Moonwalker tape was definitely one that wore out in my house. Good thing for dvds and now youtube. Love the work. Thank you.
Damn dude! This makes me wanna take my SC remake down! 😂😫😭 As always, straight “🔥🙌🏾🔥🙌🏾🔥🙌🏾🔥” my dude! And yes, as a kid I had to take out the album booklet to look up the lyrics 😂😂😂... Lookin’ forward to the next one! 🙏🏾💯
holy cow...bruh I use to watch you WAY BACK like 2011-12. You were a huge influence on me getting into beatmaking/producing music. I was a noobie back then. To see u now(the weight loss) and see your studio upgrades is a blessing. When I last watched you you were trying to build it and did a go fund me. Around that time also u dropped a sample pack of some sort called “Chemical “ i believe. That’s how long it’s been! lol Gawd bless young G. Keep bangin.
I know it's probably not really the point of the video to mimic it exactly, but the original beat has quite a lot of depth to it. Including lots of filler in the drum beat itself. The main rhythm never changes, but I guess what I'm saying is how this song never felt very 'programmed' to me at all.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS I've always wondered what the original sample sounds were that he used in Smooth Criminal and you come very close! The medley of the samples used on that song is like nothing ive ever heard before... Hope to find out the exact original sounds someday but until then THIS satisfies a lifelong curiosity lol (also mj seemed to love the Roland Jupiter 8 I think it was & the sinclavier, his real heartbeat was recorded and played through the sinclav for the intro to this song btw!)
The second sound (pluck piano/bass) ..is it a from the original sample or it is from a sound library? If yes can I you tell us were it from? And this basic kick is from machine?
That was very good brotha. Say man look out homie, you kill those remake’s. Can you do a Remake by Pimp C Ft Zro Coming up? That would be a great remake playboy. I enjoy the tutorials brethren. Stay blessed. God be with you, may peace be upon you. 💯
Fire! Let’s get some usher, backstreet boys, the weeknd, drake, ashanti, destiny’s child say my name! Brandy n monica the boy is mine, toni Braxton man enough

The production of Quincy Jones and Michael is just wordclass. And awesome remake, bro!
3:30 what is this sound it’s so good ?
A muted piano sample
This is a great example of how lyrics truly don’t matter. What matters is the music itself. Great job 🖤
