"Eunice aphroditois" (colloquially known as the Bobbit(t) worm or sand striker) is an aquatic predatory polychaete worm dwelling at the ocean floor. An ambush predator, the animal buries its long body into an ocean bed composed of gravel, mud, or corals, where it waits for a stimulus to one of its five antennae, attacking when it senses prey. Armed with sharp teeth, it is known to attack with such speed and ferocity that its prey is sometimes sliced in half.
THIS is why you dont' "just grab it and pull it out of the hole"! It's venomous, strong, and anchors itself deep in it's burrow.

Explanation from previous video on why he's catching them "So guys, let me answer some of your most common questions. First, I would like to say that I did not expect this video to get this much attention but obviously bobbit worms attract attention wherever they appear. Video is a bit long and not so exciting so for those not so patient I think it's not a bad idea to put video on 2x speed. I'm catching bobbit worms for my fishing needs and that's the only reason I catch them for, fish just can't resist them. The reason I put this video on youtube is because I do not only find them fascinating as creatures but the procedure od catching them too. The trap in which they get caught works on the same principle as mousetrap and most of them are alive days after until they end up in the jaws of some fish."

The plural of fish is usually fish, but fishes has a few uses. In biology, for instance, fishes is used to refer to multiple species of fish. For example, if you say you saw four fish when scuba diving, that means you saw four individual fish, but if you say you saw four fishes, we might infer that you saw an undetermined number of fish of four different species. grammarist.com/usage/fish-fishes/
