The flamethrower can take out a player using a shield very easily. The EMP is great for disabling an over powered opponent using a sniper, shotgun or rocket and make them easy to kill with a grenade. Also the EMP gun deals massive melee damage second only to the machete. You can lure an attacker into a confined space and then pull the machete on them. You have to pick which situation is best for each weapon. If you use them in the wrong combination or at the wrong time you can expect poor results but that does not mean the weapon serves no purpose to the game.

The worst gun is the one that gets rid of your flying. The first time i used it i didn't no what it did .... So when I used it I thought it was gonna kill u instantly. But..... it took away the flying power and the dude kills d me cause it was the only weapon I had. The other was pit of ammo :(
You have forgot to mention that a flamethrower reflects on the user. And I disagree about machete. Equip a shield with it, and you will know what immortality is.
