What a good use of scraps and cones from my stash. The stick hanging method is just ingenious. Thank you for such a fun idea, and for sharing your good tips too. It turned out simply lovely. 😊❤
Love the look of the wool for the wreath. Made one years ago with cotton and the wool is really an upgrade. The tips on how to cut the strips and hang the wreath are brilliant I’ll definitely be using them on future projects!
Hi Marion - I love your wreath. It’s so pretty. The stick idea is great to hang it with. The pine cones just look perfect on it. Great job as always. You create the prettiest things. Enjoy your time with Naomi in Paris. Love & Hugs ❤️
Beautiful wreath Marion. Great idea for all the Christmas scraps. Years ago I used pinked edged fabric squares pushed into a foam wreath. Also a very pretty similar look.🌲🌲🌲♥️🇦🇺
Wow Marion, this is a wonderful wreath, so nature-like yet symbolic of Christmas past. I love it and especially in lieu of fake greens. Your choice of fabrics and colours is perfect. Also, you save us grief with all your tips - so generous.
What a great use of your wool thrums! I don't like using hot glue, so it's good to know you can sew the pine cones on. I think it would be fun to see what it would look like if you scattered in some of the snow white pieces you cut at the beginning.
Very nice I was wondering if you made a film with your little advent birds I want to try and make some for my tree but I haven't found any of yours , hope you're having a wonderful time best wishes
Thrift Stores, especially Salvation Army. I hook rugs and buy old wool clothing, esp. skirts. We in Maine have the so-called "Goodwill Pound Store" where everything is charged by the weight, 1 pound. I once found a beautiful wool blanket with a few moth holes that yielded much beautiful wool for a few dollars. I just throw it in a quick cold wash and start having fun - I hope you will as well - I wish you a very blessed Christmas and a very Marion-crafty new year.
@@susandeveaux4117 I should have thought of that. You could just use ordinary cotton material in Christmas colors, of course it will look a bit different, but Marion's summer wreath was made of cotton and looks great. Maybe you come across other materials from clothing, etc. In a pinch you can also do some dieing. Good luck, I'd love to hear what you come up with .

Another great way to use up scraps and ribbons. Everything you create is lovely! 🪡🧶🎄
Ingenious, from the making of the wreath to the way you hung it up! Reminds me of when you figured out the closure for your hussif.❤
You could do a wreath like this for any season. Would be beautiful in spring colours. Great job Marion. ❤🇨🇦

Wow…I love this !!! Wish I knew where to get the wool like that in Tennessee 🎄 Best thoughts to you in Paris !!🎄🎄🎄

Oh, I forgot, the Dollar Store has the frames for $1.25
@@weissblau yes, I’ll look again. Tennessee is so warm, you don’t find wool often in thrift stores.
