This is about how a road was dug up and made miserable for the people of an area in Mundakkal West, Kollam , for about two years. It is about the suffering of the people seen by the Road & how finally the day dawned when it was resurfaced & made motorable for the public.
The hardships during this period can be only imagined by seeing how this was delayed due to many excuses by the authorities.
The good side was how the people went about silently & patiently knowing that it was useless to keep complaining. It also demonstrates the willingness of the people to accept life as it is & which gave them immense strength to weather any situation.
To conclude , it was living with hope all the time & knowing fully that it was only a matter of time for bad times to pass bye.
