Go for the hustler hyper drive 60 in. I spoke to a contractor who had the rapter then the xone then he gotta the hyper drive. He made the comment that he wished he got the hyper drive from day 1 . After talking to him I took 1 for a couples of days to demo. Its a beast of a machine. Did 2 days work into 1. Bought it and started earning some serious money. You can Smack a lot of work out in day with it. At least take 1 for a couple of days to demo. Hope that helps. Great video thanks.
Cheers mate, Paul is going to bring the SZ out for me to try next week hopefully. I'm very keen on the Hyperdrive but I just don't have the work for a 60" as most of my properties are suburban residential blocks. I am considering it but at the same time I'm trying to keep expenses down and even the non-EFI Hyperdrive is $5k more than the 54" X-One, and that's a lot of extra cash to cough up for a kid like me. I'm probably going to get a custom trailer for the new machine though and if I do I'll make sure it's wide enough to fit a 60" as well because I might end up getting one down the track. Thanks for your input :D
The first mower that you used was sure fast, and you are right the grass was thin and wispy mine is worse i havent mowed it in about 2 months because its dead. I even uploaded a video of it, I thought we were going to get lots of rain yesterday as in Wednesday but it didnt come.
Yeah its no good round here either. There's times when I've had 5 months or more in between cuts and it really hits ya hard. Hopefully you guys get some more rain up there soon :D
Thanks mate. Not too near us thankfully but the smoke has been bloody thick the past few days. Going down to the fire zone tomorrow to help with the cleanup
So have you decided on what one? keep in mind with mowing speeds its the ground that dictates your speed I still haven't been able to mow at full speed yet well not for a long amount of time at the higher speeds bumps throw you around more also the customers look at you like your riding a dirt bike in the their yard you got to be swift without looking like you are in a rush but if you pick up some soccer fields you should be able to mow at top speed and than you will be wanting more power
Still deciding mate but the Hustler is definitely the more likely candidate at this stage. I'm happy with the X-One's 18kph as its plenty for what I'm doing and the Spartan has the same speed too, but your right you don't need it for most places.
Yes I have but they are usually lower horsepower and we don't have much of a range here. I also want a machine with a foot deck lift. Would like to get a 36" Gravely protance for small yards though
I would but they are very expensive and I only have 1 lawn I think that I catch grass for and its small enough that I use a push mower anyhow. The big blocks that this would be used on we never catch because it would take way too much time
Love the machine but got a flat in rear tyre on my 48” fast trak $365 for one tyre what an absolute disgrace. Lesson 2 always check the price of spares before you buy a machine
Yeah absolutely mate that sucks big time. I had one of my front casters cark it recently and it was $175 each for new solid ones not a cheap exercise for how small they are but yeah gotta keep an eye on parts prices. Ebay can have some good stuff if you know which part numbers you need

@@JWNLawnCare Well its ok in my case mowing lawns isn't my work, just as not having to do it as a home owner But as for rain it is trying.
Great video. Are you near the fires

Have you looked in to getting a stand behind zero turn

You should get a rid on that you can catch the clippings
