AWARHERO please don’t discourage and break the young man’s spirit. My father was a great violinist when my brother was learning to play, folks made him get a nervous breakdown by comparing his skill with my dad’s.

Children do not automatically inherit talents from their parents. Some do, some don't, it's a simple fact.
He has a better than average voice but i wonder what Simon Cowell would say about it.
Please keep in mind that without his father's notoriety, he would not even have a shot to be on this platform.
Practice and effort can take you so far but without REAL talent, you'll never "shine" at the top.
It's not discouraging when you tell the truth to someone. It's simply saving everyone a lot of wasted time and effort...
Not everyone can be a doctor, astronaut, quantum physic scientist or a singer....
Your brother never learned this humbling lesson and that is the sad part about this story.

Wow the kid is only 21 and apparently only started singing a couple of years ago. It was very sweet watching Andrea watch his son. Beautiful performance.

Such a talented family! It is an honor to even watch these two through a screen! I can only imagine what it would be in person!
Do not imagine, make sure to try and make it to Andrea Bocelli's live performance somehow. I honestly can tell you, it was one of the most amazing live performances I have ever attended. And if I ever given opportunity to go again, I will without even shadow of doubt.
I was fortunate enough to have had the chance to see perform Andrea. The seats were not the best and the weather was lousy but when he started singing, none of that mattered.
If you ever have the chance, take it.

This is such a touching and beautiful performance. I love Matteo's voice- it sounds so natural and comfortable- I can't believe he hasn't been singing since he was born. They sound wonderful together.
The video for this song is beautiful. When Andrea sings "I close my eyes and I'm seeing you everywhere", made me cry. Matteo said he's been singing with his father his entire life and that he's not singing with Andrea Bocelli, he's singing with his father.

Matteo is so handsome. Looking at him brought an image to my mind of old photographs of another 21-year-old, also thin and handsome but born 78 years before Matteo, my father who passed away 16 years ago. He, too, had a lovely voice. He and my mother (who left this world 6 years ago) taught us to love music. I'm recalling times we sang together and my tears are flowing. I miss them so much. I've loved Andrea for many years, and I'm happy that he can have the joy of singing with his children (see videos with Virginia).

I started watching, but then closed my eyes and just listened - it was the amazing, beautiful festival I had hoped for. Departed to another place entirely; Andrea's & Matteo's voice together was a real treat! Either alone are entirely magical, and singularly so powerful and emotive it almost made me weep! Now we have the wonderful experience of seeing and hearing his handsome son singing with his fantastic father. Mateo is getting better and his voice is getting stronger.Just 💖to hear them together 👍👏
