I love seeing a deck in paper, there's just something about it. When hammertime was first announced i ordered it in paper, with 4 foil colossus hammers, snow land and its beautiful, fun as hell to play too. This venerated rotpriest deck is insane, i would want a mutate version even tho it would be slower- it would be cool. I have a golgari mutate poison deck in paper, slow but only because it needs wild cantors, gorilla shamans, or the green shamans, i like those cantrip land auras- very nice. Was wondering if there was a bolt/breach build that could be roughly as fast tho its obvious this deck is quite speedy. Turn2 hammer kill tho- chefs kiss.
I agree paper magic is the best! And yes there is a version with Bolt and rituals that is more spell-based (no wild cantor and unbridled growth) that could be interesting
I do love the TheEpicStorm’s list of Venerated Rotpriest Breach. So far it’s such a insane deck and love it as it’s basically a breach deck that wins with Grapeshot or GroundRift.
I figured this would happen when I saw rotpriest spoiled lol. It's a cool card so I'm happy to see new archetypes even if i cry everytime I lose to poison.
When a saw this list with the new card, I know your going to do a video of this storm poison counter. I think this is going to be very good deck in a future. Nice video!
whats the plan if they bolt/push etc your rotpriest in response to storm on the stack? I love this deck but this feels like something that needs to be addressed.
Is a targeting abillity, so as soon as you put groundrift on the stack they get poision counters, also the list should play mutagenic growth to protect it from bolt aswell as being a free spell
@@MTGDeckmasters March of Burgeoning Life. It counts as a targeted spell and grabs you another rotpriest onto the field by discarding a green card. So you have 12 copies of rotpriest. ofc you have to have another march on the field to get it, but it makes it really consistent to get 2 rotpriest onto the field
Underworld breach would get it first, used for combo and value lists, and matter of fact is banned in pretty much all constructed format but modern. As to Venerated Rotpriest, it is still possible to use it fairly in regular infect lists.

Yes I thought his list was interesting. I'll give it a shot for sure and then see which one is better👍

I agree it's frustrating to lose on turn 2 to such a janky deck...

Thanks! Only time will tell if this deck is here to stay👍
Wow. Venerated Rotpriest is potentially the best card in the set.
That could very well be the case!
I think it is side to side with atraxa
The card is good but the deck isn’t great. I’ve used Rot Priest in a UG Poison Pump deck and he was pretty good in that.
After recosideration its not as good as atraxa, mercurial dancer and quite a few other

Yeah it's not good😂

No march. Im suprised. Try it. Its great with rotpriest and cantor, to get more stormcount or poison counter
March?

The Gruul Guy
My favorite colors😁
What sleeves do you have the deck in
UG Katana in Forest Green. I hate to answer that question because I'm giving them free promo😂
how do you feel about putting dragons rage channelers in twiddle storm?
I've been testing many new variants of Twiddle Storm. Video coming about exactly that on monday!
Leyline of sanctity is so good against this deck!
And I play 4 in my Twiddle Storm SB!

Venerated rotpriest is a candidate for ban list

It might be too early. We'll have to see how things unfold...
