Is Decavitator Really THAT GOOD? | Splatoon 3: Sizzle Season 2024

Another Sizzle Season 2024 weapon this week in Splatoon 3. This time we have the long anticipated decavitator, a weapon that absolutely stole the spotlight when it was first announced as people claimed it would be broken and powerful and today we will see if that's the case. Splatanas are one of my mains. This weapon helps you learn Stamper too. You get over Stamper's “slow” speed when you play Decavitator.

Was just telling my wife (forcing her to listen to my Splatoon strats.) that this weapon made me way better at stamper specifically last second charge slash direction changing. Been getting a lot of 2x kills with stamper direct hits now.

ive been playing the decavitators for a while, and ive observed that you want to run ninja squid more on the charcoal and not on the mint
mint excells better without ninja squid because it can poke with bombs, so you can use quick respawn and comeback
since charcoal doesnt have a bomb, you want to sneak in, and use wall to either help you escape by dashing past it or get you in by acting like a tiny bubbler

vanilla stamper has a lot of tools that it can use, thanks to its kit.
you can use burst bombs or horizontal slashes to combo with charged slashes, although you want to use horizontals bc burst bombs cost more
stamper nouveau has *crab*
paint, *crab* , occasional splat, paint, *crab*
nothing else said

vanilla wiper can combo off of charges with a torpedo, either rolled on the ground or thrown
it can also combo off charges with two horizontals, but torpedoes are a little more ideal
this is not the case with wiper deco, because it has beakons
this gives you a more supportive skirmisher role
you can put beakons in annoying places too

also, going back to stamper or wiper after playing the decavitators is extremely awkward and takes getting used to
and remember that wiper and stamper can ledge peek, while the decavitator cannot
AND STEALH JUMP IS A MUST IN THIS CLASS REMEMBER THAT
