I am from Sawantwadi and travels to Pune in every 3 months on my bike on this same route...this route is most beautiful during July and August when it rains heavily in Amboli ghat section.

The Ghat is called Khambatki ghat not Khandala. Khandala and Lonavala are between Mumbai and Pune.
Also Mumbai to Goa is a different which cuts across from Panvel.
I have stayed in Pune for few years. Marathi people are really nice. Very friendly....❤ I miss Maharashtra
Bahut hi aaram se chalaye aap ne bike Goa tak. I usually plan to leave by 7am or 8am and reach South Goa by 6pm max. Avoid driving in the dark. It's a good thing that you avoided the Belgaum route.

Nice! I'm glad you went via Nipani / Amboli Ghat. This is traditionally the default route to go from Pune to Goa. Good amount of traffic on this route so you will get help if needed. The Belgaum route is a long cut and you will go via a lonely forest road. Not recommended!

20:10 mostly during night times , as the road is single and dangerous most vehicles go as a group and follow each other , so even if there’s an emergency like tyre puncture or something, you have someone to help , most people try covering this before night but youre built different 😂 just for fun buddy enjoy your journey youre doing great , loved your videos

Bro, repair work has started on Belgaum-Goa road via Chorla ghat and is targeted to complete in next 2-3 months. Most bikers use this road because it is the best.
