Raidan Ei is NOT Mei in an alternate universe. She just resembles Mei. No one in Genshin is a 'direct' expy of anyone. However Acheron IS literally Mei from another universe. Star Rail has a lot more direct parallels to HI3, all 'expy' characters in Genshin are a lot more 'loose' and aren't direct parallels.
Acheron is indeed multiverse Raiden! Though she's closer to the Honkai Impact Raiden I'd say. You'll see more if you see the Myriad Celestia trailers too

Acheron isn't actually fighting the Stelleron hunters in her trailer. That's Sparkle creating illusions of them to see what Acheron is capable of. .... That said I don't think thare are many people who would argue Acheron COULDN'T take all the Stelleron Hunters if it actually happened, I don't think Ellio would allow them to wind up in that battle though. The slaves of Destiny are wiser than to put themselves in a direct confrontation with the single most powerful character in the game thus far.
