Wow. When I was in college, I worked on the Midway at the Circus Circus in Reno. I'm amazed to see they've removed cash and added cards now. It's nice they removed darts out of Balloon Darts. A 2-year-old once darted me in the forehead in that game. After closing, my coworkers and I would play the games to figure out the strategy. We learned that in Bushel Baskets, if you bounce the ball on the ground first, in an arc towards the basket, it's more likely to stay in. Instead of hitting the rim. (Our boss said that was technically allowed!) I remember in Cannery (we had one big can, as opposed to 5), people would ask me to put in the ball in the can, just to show that the ball could fit. But what no one knows is that those cans have a small lip just inside top, with a hole big enough for the ball. So the can's lid LOOKS bigger than it was. I could go on, but I probably shouldn't. XD
@WinnerEveryTime Hi Winner Every Time my name is Thaddeus Ganster and I would like to see you guys at Governor Mifflin Comunity Days next year it's at the Governor Mifflin Intermediate School you guys inspire me
Interesting odds on the goblet game. I counted roughly 24 by 12 goblets giving a total of 288 goblets, of which 22 can win, so odds of 1 in 13. So with eight balls for $2.50 you have a fairly decent chance of winning if the balls don't go over the edge. It's quite nice that they can tune the odds just by swapping coloured jars in and out.
We sometimes try to point out a rough idea of odds, good reminder for us to try to include that in our next video! But yes, a quick eyeball is pretty good to see how fair a goblet toss is!!
@@WinnerEveryTime I wonder what ratio of balls do find their way over the edge. I'd guess that with a lot of players, the behaviour of the game is also affected by pre-landed balls.
So just a thought and tell me if I'm wrong here but for goblets: Since the attendant doesn't take off your tossed balls from the goblets, could you essentially create a "bucket wall" of balls so you are eliminating the randomness of bounces?
I love the arcade games or anything you post but you know I love the carnival games you post!!! 😊 keep these videos coming and I’m so happy you reached 170K!!!!!
That snack bar looks so fun. I hope they open it up again. When I was a kid we had a huge 2 story carousel in our mall but they took it away years ago.
I love that Circus Circus is still around. It's great to have something still around from before corporate bean counters made everything so bland and generic in the unending quest to maximize profit and efficiency.
@@WinnerEveryTime Had fun. They did not have the squismellows that day, but I did win the hamster thing at the softball toss, and I won a giant panda at the game where you get under 10 or over 26 We also won at Excalibur and the best new one for redemption is the one at the horseshoe
