The Germans and Czech people have got their suspensions sorted out perfectly. But that's where their story ends. Their service and after sales is a totally different story and can't seem to match the Japanese. Best is to rent them out only😆

Sedans have lower center of gravity so better control/confidence at high speeds than SUVs, ofcourse if it's diesel then power would be more as well but don't overspeed ( u r putting others at risk too) ! Nice video 😎👍
Actually the battle between both of them should be classified as legendary as they are two of the oldest automobile manufactures ever born in the late nineteenth century. People at skoda are very honest, they named their car RAPID and it is very rapid indeed.
I like the way u respect VW skoda. Ecosport , freestyle is also a good car. My respect to Fiat, Ford and Germans any day..

ford epas steering is far better than vw electric steering .dont compare the germans with americans. moreover these german cars are for slim people & we fatties go for ford .i was slim first & fatty later but ford was comfortable in both phases wer as this skoda became bit congested . moreoever german cars perfomance lowers over time but americans & asian cars wont.

in the end why ford is better than vw for my preference or taste or in my view is becoz it is having adaptive steering so it doesnt pull the vehicle left or right if there is alignment ,wer as for vw electric after hit pot holes after pot holes the vehicle will go to left slowly or right slowly if u leave the steering . this allows more burden to the driver to correct the steering as & when there is wheel alignment bt wer as ford it gets adaptive & reduces drivers effort after taking damage from pot hole & that to it adapts within few seconds to minutes. wer as german cars u have to take it to wheel alignment my friend. we are in india & pot holes are availble in every road. confidence is there in high speeds in both the steering but much vibration will be felt in vw steering at around 160+ , bt in fords u dont get that vibration & even in mahindra xuv 500 u wont get vibration above 160+ . i think there is a haptic thickness while driving at high speed in vw or german cars. hyundai has this adaptive steering hardness around 80kmph + . bro do let ur review on y u dont belittle skoda before ford. i want to know ur version becoz everyone have their own perspectives.

I had same experience with duster. I was simply going. Duster guy was trying to overtake me. He could not. When he realised he is not able to beat the rapid he started racing and i was simply going. At the end on the high way when i wanted to take a right and enter the town i slowed down my vehicle and said ok you go now. The duster guy was happy to overtake me.
I would love see Contractor Abuzar driving a Ford Fiesta 1.6s. Very Underrated Car. It was a gem of Car in terms of High speed stability, Best and direct steering feedback with almost zero body roll. I'm still holding one since 2008. Yes, it may not be the best in terms of power figure but till date I haven't found any car ( sub 15 lakh price bracket ) that drives and handles better than my old Fiesta 1.6s.
Rapid looks elegant while going on highway. Rapid new 1l petrol is next level power. That disappears with ease..
By the way I like Ford endeevar...old Ford escort for suspension...eco sport is good better than Korean tins..

No competition with Rapid/vento is this segment. They are meant for performance, especially in sports mode, they just fly. Only D segment and above cars can beat them

I own a AMEO 1.5TDI Dual clutch, i used to do 195kmph+ easily most of the times. I think he is not yet on full throttle😅! I only feel tough to overtake the D segments or luxury cars like BMW if the driver is enthusiastic! By the way Ford’s TDCI is also a great one! Now i miss both diesels!

The truck drivers have to keep themselves in left and let the small vehicles move ahead, why they are blocking the roads???
Even on express highway, sign boards has been installed saying that bulky vehicle should keep themselves in left. This is the real cause of mishaps on Indian highways.

The German twins.. VW vento and Skoda rapid.The handling, performance, stability at high speeds- only a segment above/ D segment can beat them.. Proud owner of VW polo and Vento from 2010.
Vento 1.6 tdi would have been the perfect competitor
First thing- Ecosport is nearly 70kg to 90 kg heavier compared to Rapid/Vento.
But still- Among Ecosport versions - 2018 model Diesel TDCI BS-4 are very powerful. Rapid, vento & Xuv-300 are also no march in drag race against this model
Never fight with (almost same bhp powered) sedan on highways. They are on their own speedy league even in cornering/ banking of highways. Want to challenge a Sedan buy a sedan ( almost same powered), not with so called SUV.

Everyone, l just recalled one thing This word which now a Typical people use especially the younger generation BRO ... is a bit awkward. My suggestion or a Consider a Request. When we Politely Answer another person back with the name even though we don't know the age , I personally would like to call another person as SIR, it keeps a good decorum and besides creates a wellness in the mind-set of the reader.
