Does it have the trademark for Winterhalder & Hoffmeier on it? My friend has one with a trademark that I cant find. It says AM in a fancy curved writing. Someone told him it is a Winterhalder & Hoffmeier but I cant find it in the trademark data base.
Hi Bill I have just won a nice Napoleon hat Westminster chimer on coiled gongs. Its back plate is Made in England with a serial number, but that's it. A penfriend from Wisconsin thinks it's either Elliott of Croydon or Smiths & Sons of Clerkenwell. Will have to do more research on mine. It can be found on my glisses7 Channel, but is in a sorry state. Yours, here, is useful for ref purposes and comparison. Best. GAIUS
