Kimba, does Corrie have the biggest audience out of the bunch? I have been watching the awards for a few years now and feel the same damn soaps win each time. I wish they incorporated critic votes into the mix to get a better idea of who really was "the best" for the year. Obviously soaps with the bigger audiences are going to easily attract the most votes, so this voting style doesn't seem to really work.
cant see how brooke vincent and sasha Parkinson didnt get nominated for this award. i thought they were really good together! they must be gutted, especially sasha as she has now left the show. if would be nice for her to get something now shes not in the show anymore
Corrie and EE have 7-10 million viewers, sometimes one is in the lead, some other times the other. Emmerdale has 7-8 million viewers cos it is supposed to appeal to an older audience (not my case, it is the best to me). Hollyoaks (and Neighbours) has 1 million viewers

Seems to me that Hollyoaks and the Doctors get fucked over. No offense to the other soaps but for me Hollyoaks is the only interesting one that doesn't feel like constant drizzle. Maybe because I'm Australian and am more accustomed to a brighter lifestyle but its just how I see it.
God! Neighbours used to be big. Use to have a large UK audience than the entire population of Australia. I understand it though, Neighbours has gotten really bad in recent years.

who watches doctors, cos i don't my fav is estenders then corrie then emerdale and last but not least holly!!! doctors is CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
