Nigo is still involved in BAPE. He closed stores in the U.S. because the market got saturated and he didn't want his brand tarnished. He's now the creative director and president for BAPE and he added a new division where he's producing a more sophisticated and high end look. More suits, blazers, loafers, ties, cardigans. He's still involved with the classic tee shirts and denim but not as much.

yes he did because he is losing a lot of money. Bape is fading in Japan now. Everyone is replacing bape with Mastermind Japan and neighborhood.
