How to solve Your project requires a newer version of Kotlin Gradle plugin flutter gradle task fail

I keep getting error module was compiled with an incompatible version of kotlin. The binary version of it's meta data is 1.9.0 expected version 1.7.1 . I keep getting this error even after updating kotlin to latest version 2.0.0 and even deleting the caches in transformers and build in the .Gradle/caches yet issue persist

It seems you are using java version 21 and gradle version 8.1, if so please set your gradle version to 8.5 for java 21.
