I like to note weskers report is basically confirmation the canon changed post CV since weskers report basically states
Leon A,Claire B was what happened in re2 which was later changed to Claire A Leon B then to re2 remake.
Sherry ended up with this other organisation in this version ie with weaker and not that guy who went onto form neo umbrella in re6
this also states the Carlos and Jill ending of re 3 was the canon one when it was later changed to the special Barry ending who came to save them both and then re3 remakes ending which was based on the regular Carlos ending
As for re1 this was changed to he GameCube remakes events along with zeros a few years or so after this game came out but basically was the same both Chris and Jill's campaigns happend with them both stating they saw Richard die at different points which calls Richard himself into question. Chris saw him die to Neptune while Jill said he got chewed up by the snake that poisoned him. Both of em said they were sure he died to those it's never been stated how both of those happened in this instance of a merged story of Re 1 remake! Also sgf if you read this why not tackle re zero and remake if you have not already.
Obviously before coming into the room to help Jill fight Yawn Richard lathered himself in unappealing herbal spices that would upset Yawn's stomach so after the fight with Jill the big snake threw Richard up and he immediately ran into the shark room because he wanted to see the cool zombie sharks.
Unfortunately he didn't realize the spices were digested by Yawn's stomach acid so he wasn't lucky enough to survive the sharks when he sacrificed himself to save Chris.

CVX deserves a remake. I'd always seen re3 as more of a "side" game than CVX in terms of narrative structure. re3 just feels like if Assignment Ada was a fully fleshed out game.
It was intended to be a side game originally so yeah.

I love hearing the contrast between dweeb RE1 Wesker and "Cool" Code Veronica Wesker.
It's honestly baffling they used any cutscene audio and didn't just have the whole thing narrated.
We need a SGF revisit of RE2make with the fixed camera angle mod.
What about the FPS mod for the original RE 2 too?
