The guy is just learning (and not sandbagging). After only two months, I think it's admirable (though maybe learning the basics will help him enjoy and perhaps be a bit safer). Hey Brandon, just start at your own pace. Learn the basics (especially how brakes (either) drop your front end down and throttle (panic rev) lowers the rear end. Takes a little time but you will get it. Takes guts to enter your first race. Good for you buddy. Start small, enjoy yourself and try to be safe.

Bikes today are so good that you can get away with that kind of air without a lot of experience some of the time, I hope he learns to moderate it a little bit before he does get hurt though. That was a gnarly crash off the track!
