MarHaba ustaadha Angela, feedeeo ra2yaa3 shukran.At about 03:20 I notice that you pronounced the letter ta on silaHfe although it is not the Idaafa case.Should I always do so when a feminine noun comes at the end of a sentence in a comparative sentence? Shukran kteer.
Valid question. As Lebanese we pronounce the noun Silehfet سلحفاة with t at the end. It's an exception to that broad rule. Ahla w sahla feek bi ayy wa't. Welcome any time. أهلا وسهلا فيك بأي وقت.
Yes, also for feminine nouns like doctora (female doctor دكتورة) and mhandse (female engineer مهندسة), unless annexed with another noun in a genetive construction, such as: doctorit-l-mistashfa دكتورة المستشفى Or sallit-ezzbele سلة الزبالة the rubbish bin, otherwise pronounced salle سلة on its own. Hope this helps. Or when adding -en suffix for the dual: ţaawle (a table) طاولة, but ţaawilten طاولتين 2 tables. Hope this helps. 😊

Dear Angela, plz the L of atwal, how much low of the line the L goes down towards the line? Down to the line of the ou? Or a bit higher up?
Yes the Laam / ل goes down a bit under the line
Example here:
images.app.goo.gl/uLuwrxiKf1VibhDE7
Alatwal, plz which one is the a and which one the L in the arabic writing?
ل it's at the end
Since Arabic is written right to left
أ A
ط ț
و w
ل L

@@spokenlevantinelebanesearabic Now I understand shukran.So if the noun were car for example, I would say seyaara instead of seyaaret.
Yes, also for feminine nouns like doctora (female doctor دكتورة) and mhandse (female engineer مهندسة), unless annexed with another noun in a genetive construction, such as: doctorit-l-mistashfa دكتورة المستشفى

How do you say I want a serious relationship?
Badde = I want بدي
3ilaa'a = relationship علاقة
Jaddiyye = serious جدّيّة
Badde 3ilaa'a jaddiyye.
