    MarHaba ustaadha Angela, feedeeo ra2yaa3 shukran.At about 03:20 I notice that you pronounced the letter ta on silaHfe although it is not the Idaafa case.Should I always do so when a feminine noun comes at the end of a sentence in a comparative sentence? Shukran kteer.

      Valid question. As Lebanese we pronounce the noun Silehfet سلحفاة with t at the end. It's an exception to that broad rule. Ahla w sahla feek bi ayy wa't. Welcome any time.

      @@spokenlevantinelebanesearabic Now I understand shukran.So if the noun were car for example, I would say seyaara instead of seyaaret.

      Yes, also for feminine nouns like doctora (female doctor دكتورة) and mhandse (female engineer مهندسة), unless annexed with another noun in a genetive construction, such as: doctorit-l-mistashfa دكتورة المستشفى
      Or sallit-ezzbele سلة الزبالة the rubbish bin, otherwise pronounced salle سلة on its own. Hope this helps. Or when adding -en suffix for the dual: ţaawle (a table) طاولة, but ţaawilten طاولتين 2 tables. Hope this helps. 😊

    How do you say I want a serious relationship?

    • @spokenlevantinelebanesearabic
      @spokenlevantinelebanesearabic  3 года назад +1

      Badde = I want بدي
      3ilaa'a = relationship علاقة
      Jaddiyye = serious جدّيّة
      Badde 3ilaa'a jaddiyye.
