Modest and Flattering Swimsuits for Women over 40

If you ask most women over the age of 40 what the hardest thing to wear out in public is, I’m betting that swimsuits are top of the list, followed closely by mini-skirts. Finding flattering swimsuits for women over 40 can be hard since most of us aren’t a size 4 or have a perfect hourglass figure. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t wear a swimsuit.

Love the first one!! So pretty!! A few days ago I tried on the Lands End racerback swing tankini top & WOW! Highlights the bust area in a pretty way & has pleats to conceal the tummy area. I ordered 3! Another one to check out!

Swimsuits are my biggest problem when it comes to fashion. I look for shorts styles as I have the chub rub to deal with. I've lost a lot of weight recently, and have more to go, but my thighs have always been thick; I have an athlete's lower body and when I'm in the water, my skin absorbs the water and makes the chub rub even worse. I find myself in what I call "granny swimsuits" just to avoid the rub. I'd rather not get wet.
