Ikr once they mentioned Longbeach and hitting a police officers car in the beginning. I was like 1 baker 11 can’t catch a break. I was just waiting for the car to hit a pole and take a jump to get away. 😂😂
😢 When we see videos of high-speed chases resulting in severe injuries or death to innocent bystanders, we struggle to find words to express our frustration, anger, and pain for the victims. As spectators watching these tragedies unfold on our mobile devices, we have the luxury to pause, rewind, or skip the video. But the harsh truth is, the victims of these senseless acts cannot skip, pause, or rewind the pain and suffering they endure. As a member of this community, I feel outrage and anger towards those who recklessly put lives at risk, refusing to take responsibility for their actions. Instead, they lead police on high-speed chases, often with devastating consequences. Alarmingly, many perpetrators are juveniles, and the sentencing process often seems lenient. However, as a community, we don't need to suffer directly to drive change. Our collective voice can be heard when we speak out. While one individual voice may be difficult to hear, it takes just one person to inspire a chorus of voices that demand action from our elected officials. Next time you have the opportunity to join the chorus, remember the images and emotions that stirred you. Let your voice be part of the collective call for change. From my family to yours, we offer our heartfelt prayers and condolences to those who have lost loved ones or suffered severe injuries, both emotional and physical, due to these tragic high-speed chases.
