We loved the up-close encounters and immersive experiences in areas where larger ships cannot even go. Highlights of our trip included natural wonders like Misty Fjords, Endicott Arm Fjord with Dawes Glacier and the Inian Islands as well as rustic villages and towns such as Sitka, Wrangell, Juneau, Haines and Ketchikan.
Seabourn combines ultra-luxury cruising with expedition-style flair and the unique Ventures by Seabourn tours brought us even closer to all the action via kayaks and zodiacs. We went on several excursions including Wild Bears of Anan, Mendenhall Glacier and Whale Watching, Private Photography Chilkat Tour in Haines, Halibut Fishing in Icy Strait Point. We paddled, walked, cruised and discovered the most amazing wildlife area. It's breathtaking to watch a pod of orcas in the ocean, see humpback whales breaching and wild bears hunting for salmon. Seabourn Sojourn only Sojourn holds 450 passengers which makes a perfect setting for an intimate, personal and extraordinary club-like atmosphere! Suites are very spacious, food is absolutely excellent and the staff is outstanding. An unforgettable trip!
