Hi Michael, Never got to thank you for the mention. I searched high and low for the I.D. After all, you are the main reason I became a true orchid grower. I found your videos right before your move to California and living in Colorado myself, I experimented with various growing methods, (including semi hydro) and therefore my obsession begun. I'm now up to 50 orchids in my collection.. Thank you so much for all you do, a true inspiration. I look forward to all of your videos, and may even join the RUclips orchid family and start recording videos of my orchid ventures myself. Again Thank you. Brandan 🌺
I'm ashamed to say I've killed every orchid I've owned. Needless to say, I'm thrilled I found your channel!! I'm so determined to be an orchid whisperer! Hahaha! My husband finally bought me another orchid with 3 stems and it was just gorgeous. Suddenly it looked as if the leaves were not getting enough water. I was spraying it with water and just came to the conclusion it was the dry environment and that I was just unable to care properly for theses little beauties...that was until I found your channel. My little orchid is now rehabilitating with the recommendations from your videos! Yaaay! Thank you! Love your channel!
OMG this makes me really excited for mine to flower!!! It's working on 4 new growths but no inflorescences yet. But I've only had it since April. It didn't start growing until May when I had all the media supplies. She is happier since I started leaving it in a dish of water. I think I might top it with some sphagnum moss too. Thanks for sharing!!!
Got one of these a month or so ago. Thanks to your video, I can’t wait for my Sedenii to bloom 👍 Thanks for always sharing your orchid experiences with us!
I agree Phrags prefer brighter light than is typically recommended (when using artificial light). Some species/hybrids prefer lower light and the leaves will turn yellow if the light is too high, but most of mine grow brighter than Oncidium but less than Cattleya. Phrag longifolium (one of the parents of Sedenii) really thrives under bright light and grows achingly slowly otherwise.
Hey Michael, new sub here. I watched your rehabilitation video cuz I received an non blooming orchid several months ago. Don't know what species and I was wondering does it matter what kind of tea you use? Black or green? Herbal? Love your Lady Slippers. I live in NE Tennessee and I've seen the yellow and all pink lady Slippers while hiking. Spectacular. Enjoyed watching this video. Be safe.
Any updates with your Sedenii? Is she doing well? I have a Schlimii, and it is dying. It's my 2nd attempt growing Schlimii. They are expensive plants. Sad to see mine is dying slowly.

Hello, Michael! Thank you for your videos!
I like your liveliness in your voice🙄I'm not missing any of your videos, congratulations on your new blooms 🎊
I remember the oxygen pump! Haha! Orchids are resilient. It's so rewarding when they finally put out blooms, especially when it takes years :)

Hi what do I do to make my orchids bloom
What kind of templates you provide ? And are there fluctuations between Summer and Winter?
Whatever you do, don't get another Phrag...they put Lay's potato chips to shame...;-)
