For me, organization is one of the most important things. For 2023-2024 I'm testing out the crate system, so I got the crate, all the file folders with labels, I'm tearing apart all my curriculum, sorting it, laminating things to re-use, etc. It makes me feel better because I'm paying so much for curriculum but getting the most out of it with multiple uses for all my kids!

I'm so happy you linked your pens! I've seen you use them in a few planning videos and was wondering which they were! I have a different style of frixion pens, but missed the felt tip!

@@priscillashaw5715 My son uses it for typing up things and a typing program. The same could be accomplished by adding a keyboard to a tablet. The Chromebook, like the iPad, has good parental security.

My must haves are: lighted globe, page protectors for notebooking, whiteboards(I bought a large one from Lowes and cut it into four and then bound edges with duct tape, a date stamp to stamp math pages (so worth the money), paper cutter and long reach stapler for lapbooking, a light table to help with tracing pictures for lapbooking which is so nice for kids who are intimidated by drawing things.

I couldn't agree with your #1 more. Our local libraries are such a treasure. One of them even just created a Makery with a laminator, cricut and laser engraver. Some of those cost for the materials but everything seems very reasonable. And they even have Yoto mini players and cards, as well as Tonieboxes that can be checked out. Seeing this room made my homeschool mama heart so happy.

I plan to join the playlist one of these days) I've been watching you for about 3 years! Thanks for being such an amazing resource! So, I wanted to get the little e-readers for my kids, but the librarian told me these don't allow the cloud library app, so I would have to purchase books. How do you get your library rentals on your paperwhite for you and your daughter? Just curious. I can't find one similar and this size would be perfect for my kids and travel!
