I love this song because it has an odd way of being able to remind you of both effects of night. We relax, the air cools and we sleep. Peaceful, nice things. But there's this strange backing to it that makes me a little uneasy. Like something is lurking beyond the next street lamp or I'm being watched from the darkness. A beautifully performed piece!
Profesor Layton is such a magical game. Nowdays you got games with the best possible grafics and, ngl they are super good too, but this series left a mark on my heart that no other game has ever been able to do.
I usually play this song for my cat while she is going to bed. I can tell it relaxes her and makes her feel more comfortable. I work nights at home most times and she loves sleeping on my office chair. So I put her to bed with this playing and while she is sound asleep I sit next to her on the chair and start working. Its a very relaxing and sleepy song and sometimes it puts me to bed! Great piece!

This piece reminds me of Animal Crossing, oddly enough. It’s just full of this nostalgic feeling. It’s peaceful, and kind of perfectly captures what night is like. I guess it reminds me of Animal Crossing because it’s so peaceful. It’s just what night time feels like. It’s peaceful, it makes you sleepy, and you can just sit there and think if you want to, or not, as you drift off to sleep.
I've taken a few night walks between 3-5AM and this song is always great for that time of day. In a ciry you rarely get a vibe that fots that song but between that time period its great, and im glad to have an excuse to listen to one of my favourite childhood songs
i remember listening this on my ds with a little light shining my room on the corner , but the place was all dark too, it was probably 10 or 11 pm, and when i heard that song for the first time, i left aside my ds and i started to think about so many things, after this i went to sleep, and i remember sleeping better after this, masterpiece
tbh...ive played this game on emulator and had it sped up. i think it sounds better when sped up :D 400%. cant do that here sadly, at least not that much
