He is right. Start putting half weight on leg. U can sit and work. No problem. But walking should be increased gradually as per comfort

Thank you for this useful information. It has been 4 weeks since my Jones fracture which was thankfully undisplaced. I may have to wear my aircast boot for 2 more weeks. I needed to know what to expect . As you said, I worried about a bump on the site of fracture and also the mild swelling which is still there though there's no pain. Now I know that it is to be expected. Thanks a lot
Yes.. U need to start exercises as u leave the cast boot.
And do it religiously for next 3-4 weeks. Hopefully u will be up and running in next month.

After hearing your tips and advice my fears has gone. Actually my left hand bone got fracture and wound plaster and removed after 37 days. However it seems bulge and swelling also severe pain. Instead of hospital physiotherapy I am doing hand exercise with videos at home.

My wrist had been fractured n was plastered for 6 weeks. Just got the plaster removed n same process was advised by my doctor. There is a little pain on the wrist n stiffness on my fingers. Anything to get relief from pain? Thanks Dr. for this informative video. God bless you.

Sir I am from Bangladesh. I removed my cast yesterday of my ankle fracture. Doctor told me to walk with a stick, do some excercises. I tried walking with bearing weight to that leg today, but whenever I put about 50% of my weight, I feel pain all over my ankle, toes, specially feels like 10 needles poking like a sun. Is it normal and should I continue walking? My english is very bad sorry.

Don't worry.. These pains will go away.. When u walk more and more.
With days passing, pain should get better... If not, consult ur doctor. But try wo walk as much as u r comfortable

Recently I had right leg bones fracture. .. Tabia n fibula.
For 2 months it was plastered n i was on rest.
However, iam able to walk without any support.
But the foot goes cross/little slant while walking.
Is it a defect Or it will be alright over a period of time.

My fibula lower bone had formed a posterior crack due to a fall but its healing now I feel new bone emerging below fibula where the arch was not visible. But as you said it may take time to reshape thanks for ur verdict and time

Good evening sir, I got Tibial plafond fracture, today Dr removed my fiberglass caste after 9 weeks..I fond the same swelling over the ankle and on side of the foot and he advised me to wash the leg and apply coconut oil and 50% weight bearing walking and adivised. to consult phscyiotherpist, after seeing swelling over my foot i got panicked and had same doubts is it everything okay.. started searching after listening you am stress free ..Thank you soo much for making such a wonderful video for patients like us,

Sir, my daughter had femur fracture of right leg , after 6 weeks of cast it has been opened today, in X-ray the bone has come to its former position but baby is not even allowing to touch her leg and there is some swelling. What kind of physiotherapy and precautions are required? Till when will she keep on walking like before? She is 2 years 11 months old.🙏
It usually becomes normal and swelling comes down in 7-10 days.
Uske baad bache ko weight daalna allow kar dete hain.
Chalna bach he ke liye sabsi achchi exercise hai. Apne doctor se zaroor consult kar ke physiotherapy karaana because x ray mein exact picture aapke doctor ko hi pata hai.

Hello sir, mere elbow ka radius head me fracture hua hai, chota chota 3 crack, jinhone x-ray kiya wo pahechan ke hai, unhone kaha * asise fracture me plaster karne se accha ek pouch arm sling(baggy) use karo, jada jaldi aur acche se heal hojayega...aur bola is type ke fracture me plaster se fyda bhi nahi milta aur plaster ke karan hand bhi jam hojata hai,,,,, *
Uske baad doctor ko dikhaya unhone bola report to unhone bola plaster na karne dikkat nahi but mere hisab se karna hi accha hoga"""*
Note: stair ke first step se slip hoke floor pe gir gaye the , but fracture ke dusre din hi dard kam ho gaya tha,, abhi dhard nahi hai, thora sujaan hai aur din me 4-5 bar thora se dard jaisa feel hota hai( 30s-60s), , pain killer bhi nahi liya dusre din ke baad,,,,,, hand 6 days baad 140% se jada sidha hota hai aram se dard nahi hota...

बहुत अच्छी जानकारी कम समय में।Ankle fracture हुआ मेरा 23/01/23 को।प्लास्टर लगा08/02 को।प्लास्टर कटा 30/03 को। चलने मे 04/04 को थोड़ी दिक्कत है।स्वेलिंग नॉर्मल है।बिना भार दिए कोई दर्द नहीं है। लेकिन चलने मे पहले से ज्यादा दिक्कत है। क्या ऐसा सामान्य है? मेरी उम्र 48 है,और BP ,SUGAR नहीं है।
Yes. Exercise continue karo 2-3 months ke liye. Theek ho jayega.

My 4.9 year old daughter's forearm fractured (radius) 3weeks before.Cast removed after 3 weeks and 3 days...X ray shows a small gap.Dr told no need of bandage.Leave it free and allow her to do as she wish and dont force her to do anything.But Swelling is there.Is there any need of bandage?

But it's my 30th day of my fracture. I have commuted fracture in my 2nd 3rd and 4th metatarsal bone. The plaster cast I little bit loose but I can't move ankle joint. While moving my fingers I feel slight pain in my fractured site. Is it okay? And my fracture site is base of the metatarsal. So how much does it will take to complete recover?

Hello sir 3 months back I got calcaneum fracture ( Minimul depression of yhe posterior and lateral half of calcaneul articular surface pf posterior subtalar joint) after onne month of injury Dr. did a surgery with two screws. Leg was plastered for 6 weeks. Yesterday plaster removed.Dr suggested to walk with walker but i fill pain in walkin. Should I start walking now of first do physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy should be done properly first x ray mein zaroor check kari ki fracture dhang se judd gaya hai ya nahin
