The game we should have gotten 20+ years ago. How we've never gotten a 4 player+ decent power rangers game confuses me till this day. Not even an xmen like power rangers cabinet blows my mind.
I like how they reused the sprites from the SNES version but, they fixed Zack and Billy. Zack looked terrible in the SNES version. Billy was bad too. He looked fat and no way had resembled the tv show counterpart.
I dont understand why theres no interest in a power ranger game. Theres gotta be someone with the resources, etc to make it happen. Theres so much with that show that could make for great game play. Fighting as unmorphed teens. Jason, Zack, Trini, Billy and Kimberly. Not to mention unlocking Tommy Unlocking Adam, Rocky, and Aisha later. Katherine too, and Tanya. Each Ranger having their own unique storylines and side missions. With Billy you can use all his cool inventions for helping the team fight evil and for other things. Zack you can do hip hop dance fighting. Who didn't want to do that in the 90s? I know I did, and I wanted to do that in a game too. Kimberly has her gymnastics stuff, and other things to make her stand out Trini did a lot to save the environment. That and her training can be useful in a game. Jason teaching his karate class at the youth center, learning to lead the team. Learning to share leadership responsibilities with Tommy. Who didn't want to do Jason vs Tommy in that tournament in a video game? come on now.. Even things like how stealthy the Rangers have to be to keep their secret a secret. When the command center contacts their communicator. You gotta find a place to go to. That be great in a game.. Dealing with Bulk and Skull. That can be fun in a game The open world fun. Going to the juice bar, making class. Just about all of this was done in 1 game back on PS2. Bully. That would be my dream Power Ranger game. If the makers of Bully took that concept and implemented into a Power Ranger game with every thing I mentioned above included. In Bully you learn new moves over time. Just like the Rangers. You pick up weapons along the way. Just like the Rangers. You can get attacked at any time...again. Like the Rangers when Rita or Zedd sends the putties down, Goldar, Scorpina, and a latest monster. I really want a good Ranger game some day..
I’ve always wanted an open world Power Rangers game like Spider-Man PS5, where you could morph whenever you wanted. I always felt like DMCs devil trigger was a good foundation to build and model the morphing aspect of the game after.

What a pity no coin-op arcade beat em up was made. I see they took the snes and sega port with sega cd? Very cool regardless. I was hoping some one would pick green ranger and they did. Ausome tribute adding "cross my line" also. Goldar and a few more monsters would have made the game even better.

A Sega CD-32X version could have come close. Sega CD for the FMVs and redbook audio, and 32X for the extended color palette. Or PlayStation.

While human battle is nice, the mecha battle is not fair... I think for mecha battles, only 2 zords are allowed.
