Thanks for showing a 70+ match. That's my age group. I like seeing the really good players my age for a change. It gives me hope.
Truly a game for all ages.
These folks give me hope as I get closer to their age bracket. they are all awesome!
Fu(e)r-aus means 'for-out'
still watching these couples, knowing this is not meant to be a comedy, some yoga, stretching, gymnastics ...
seven years later these couples might still be active at this sport.
So compliments and enjoy😉
better to just use one camera vs changing the view for the viewer so many times.
10:45 lob was in, in my opinon
I agree...it was an important point, too, which made it all the more imperative to have a good call.
It was in by six inches. I am surprised they didn't make a fuss. t was a big point.
@@ucctgg I played it back several times at quarter speed and it was clearly in.....You can clearly hear him say "no" and she says "yes".
Clearly in
I've never seen so many bad "out" calls in my life!
I was thinking about using this as an example to a new player but since they get in an argument immediately, I figure it's not so good. I'm looking for something with older players having a good time.
Okay Karen
So wish we could see this again.
You can watch it as many times as you like.
10:44 ball was in
Like my brother, the minister of the family says, "If you ain't cheating you ain't trying."
Gold medal game? Hate to have seen the ones knocked out earlier
It is my observation that the smaller of the two women hit the serve above her waist. Can anyone correct the error in my observation?
Yes I agree she appears to have an illegal serve.
Jim Jr44 the serve must be below the waist, (navel level). Are you going to be the ref that asks her to lift her shirt for a reference point? ;-) Unless it's blatant its not usually called.
it's pretty close at the contact point.
Wrist is not above top of the paddle
What level 3.5?
At 10-10 ref called ball out but it was clearly in.
When the one team came back and got it all even -- the 11th point wasn't theirs --- they called a ball out that was really in.
:( no I will not take this up.. Rather Walk, Bicylce and play golf!
The ball at 10:45 was so in. Horrible out calls
Guy in blue was calling a lot of balls out that were in.
I believe there were two linesmen who were making the calls. :)
A lot of foot faults on the serves.
lots of illegal serves.
Seems to be a trend everywhere you play now. Seems those teaching are doing are doing a poor job or it's just being allowed.
The lady in black shorts is not 70. Her man is but not that youngin.
Clarify- black shorts, grey top.
These players are hopeless!
Stopped watch at the 8 minute mark. Good players but too many unforced errors and more interested in banging the ball then dinking and getting set up for a good shot. Fun to watch though.
Not one dink the entire match, how is that even possible
I'm new to pickleball, but I think there were a lot of dinks.
I can't wait to play 70ies next year, looking for good partners!
@Art Worley What part of the country are you in?
Help I've dinked and I can't get up! Seriously though good to see a 70+ match I play with a guy who is 67 and you wouldn't know it by the way he moves.
is this the dementia olympics?
After a point the woman in pink kept hitting the ball back to the server under the net. Bad Etiquette.
Really? I never heard that one, but I suppose it does make some sense, especially among older players. I do it all the time, as do nearly all of the people I play. I guess I'll start trying not to do that.
Why I'm 74 and we return the ball under the net so it gets there accurately.
