SO BEFORE YOU START SENDING ME HATE TAKE A MOMENT AND READ IT AND IF I WILL SEE ANY HATE IN THE COMMENTS, I WILL DELETE IT IMIDIATELY.
Okay. I know it's a very controversional couple and while I can understand why someone may not like the idea of the characters being together (like I said I wouldn't want it either, because that would be just sick), I don't understand why you all (I mean haters) need to send hate to all the people who just enjoy those two having scenes together and why the hell you think that if someone likes Kilgrave it means that he/she supports rape? Wtf? A lot of people like different villains, people who kill, sometimes just for fun so do you think they all support murder? Why don't you hate on them? It's the same situation. I'm sorry to bring it to you guys, I know it may be shocking, but... THEY ARE NOT REAL PEOPLE, this is a fictional show with a fictional characters and if someone likes a villain it doesn't mean he/she supports what he's doing and if you think that then it's something seriously wrong with you since apparently you can't see difference between the real world and a fictional one.
I'm sorry if I was being mean, but all this hate I see around the internet is just pissing me off and I needed to express myself.
Now let's get back to Kilgrave and Jessica. Shipping is as far as I concern, wanting two people to be together as a couple, so no, I don't ship them. I just love their dynamics. I enjoy seeing them both in one scene, I love how dark and twisted their relationship is and yes, I have to admit, I feel a lot of chemistry between them.
I don't think this ship is heathly, it's not. I just love those kind of villains with a problematic past but if you look closely you can see there's actually some light in them, even though it's too consumed with darkness to get out into the surface. Yes, I like to think that not all the things are black or white. And I like to think Jessica has some of this darkness in herself as well but she's fighting with it instead of letting it consume her. I believe Kilgrave actually thinks he's doing the right thing because his damaged brain tells him so. And I think he really loves Jessica but he just doesn't get what love really is, he maybe really believed that she was with him from her own will and then when he realised she doesn't love him, he was just so desperate to get her back that he would do anything to get his dream came true, even if it required some terrible actions.
I don't deny he is a villain, but I always like to emphatize not only with a hero (or in this case a heroine) but also with a bad character, so even though I think he has done everything wrong, I kinda get him sometimes. But I also understand Jessica perfectly and I really feel sorry for her.
But I also have this weekness when it comes to dark relationships and couples and that's why I made this video. And also (SPOILER ALERT!) I'm sorry he died. He was a really great & complex villain and David Tennant did a great job potraying him.
I also loved the episode 8 where they were working together and helping people and I kinda wanted to see more of it but ehhh... Still one of my fav episode by far.
This is one of the most obssesive, stalker songs I know so I think it fits those two perfectly since Kilgrave is obssesed with Jessica and his whole world revolves around her.
I tried to show both Jessica's POV as well as Kilgrave's so you can kinda understand both of them but without justifing his character.
I finished Jessica Jones about 1,5 week ago and I LOVED IT. I think it's now one of my favorite shows ever, it has just everything I can possibly love about a tv show and if you haven't watched it, I highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed. I'm kinda obssesed with it right now, so I'll probably make another video with it soon, probably either with the whole show or Kilgrave... or maybe Jessica&Kilgrave again since I'm not entirely happy of how this video came out.

I don't ship it either. But their dynamic was amazing and the tension these two actors created in each scene together was flawless. (Basically I agree with everything you said in the description box. Especially about Jessica having a darkness in her).

Great points made in your description section. i understand where you're coming from completely and I love the dynamics of these two. I think Kilgrave has to be my favorite villain in all of TV history tbh. And YES it's pretty funny when he says JESSSICCAAA, the way he drags it out is hilarious to me too. I want to make friends with someone named Jessica just so i can say "Come back here Jessica! NOW JESSICA" LOL.

OMG this is amazing! You edited it flawlessly. And I agree on what you said in the description. I also think when some people say they ship them, they actually mean they enjoy the dynamic they have but it doesn't have to mean they want them to end up happily together with babies and Kilgrave doing his scary thing. It really makes me want to bang my head against the wall seeing some of the arguments when people aren't necessarily even talking about the same thing. He's a great villain, the season focused around him a lot, so I'm pretty sure the creators meant for us to enjoy watching him no matter how dark he is. And David is magnificent! Thank you for this:)

I think you might be right about those people, well at least like half of them, because I've also seen some people wanting them to be an actual couple and end up together which just wouldn't be right. But I'm also not one of those people who is going around and send hate to those people because most of the time it's just a bad understanding of the chemistry (hope I expressed it right). Exacly! I don't see anything wrong with enjoying or even loving the character especially when he's so well written and played. Anyway, once again thank you :)

I think they could've been a great duo, if Jessica was with him he could use his powers for good. Also Jessica can't be controlled by him so she could just leave anytime, I think Kilgrave could've been a hero. 😀😀
+Supsi85 I ship them, but what I want is for episode 8 to end differently, so that Jessica helps him learn to be better, and make up for the past. i think that somewhere, somehow, they could have eventually ended up happily.
he needs to change, but he doesn't know how, because he grew up hating and never having to answer to anyone. it doesn't excuse him, but he did have a pretty messed up childhood.

The video is just pure perfection, though I do not like it when SPOILER ALERT FOR JESSICA JONES'S FINALE ........................... when he dies and it is shown because lifeless David is just too much. But anyway, the vid is really awesome, you did a great job. And I agree with you in 100%! Every word your wrote is totally how I see it. I do not ship them but I love watching them. First of all, this video is great, I loved how you showed the story from two points of view. I wish it was longer cause the song matches so well with the clips! Now I want to talk about your db. I am so glad I am not the only one who thinks this: that liking a villain doesn't mean you agree with the things he have done in real life. Actually you shouldn't agree in the fictional world either but the right thing to do is to see past the things a villain has done and also see the past, just as you have to see that a hero has a darkish side. I love dark characters. two of my favorite characters are heroes but I also have villain favorite characters, like Loki or Killgrave. They are not only villains, they are problematic and complex and even though I don't agree with the bad things, no wait, terrible thing they did, I understand them. Yes, I understand them because I see what made them become what they did and it's actually quite sad. I am nor sure if you've seen Thor but I will talk about Killgrave and Killgrave/Jessica.Personally, I understand both Killgrave and Jessica but I don't think I actually ship them.. I ship the actors though, they had so much chemistry and I would like to see them in another movie :D Back to the characters, Jessica has been thorough a lot because of him and I see why she hates him but I can't hate him. Yes, he raped and made people kill themselved but he wasn't just a monster if you actually look into his past. His childhood was actually worse than Jessica's and more like Thris one, exept that Trish managed to have a life of her own without becoming a monster and so did Jessica but people react differently. I think people should also see it's his parents that infected him and left him alone even though they tried to save him , if ''it doesn't matter what you were trying to do'' works for him, it works for his shitty parents too. They wanted to save him but they actually ruined a lot of lives.Again, this doesn't exuse him totally, he still did what he did but he could have been differently if he didn't suffer so much in his childhood. I also agree with what you said about episode 8. It would have been interesting if they actually changed him into a good person and to feel sorry for how he's been instead of killing him. What I love more than villains in a show are villains showing they also have a soft side.

I know some people think its messed up, but I refuse to feel bad about it.
I ship them for the same reason I ship The Joker and Harley Quinn.
you may be a crazy murderous supervillian who can't understand the value of human life, but that doesn't mean you don't love the woman you're torturing.
it just means you're incapable of a healthy relationship.
I believe Kilgrave loves her in his own way, its just that his way isn't very healthy.
and although it doesn't completely excuse him, he did have a very traumatic and messed up childhood. no ever taught him to love properly, all he knows is how to take.
even if his parents did it for the right reasons, they were still wrong,
and i can't help but wonder what would have happened if Kilgraves mom hadn't stabbed him when he seemed truly sorry...
only difference is that Harley loved joker despite the abuse, meanwhile Jessica is held captive and raped by Kilgrave... i love Kilgrave's character and how much he loves her but I can't even imagine shipping a victim with their rapist...
