Great report, thanks. One thing, when going from Steady Speed to Anchored, you do not come to a shuddering stop, you have to make a Move Step before stopping. (Page 16).
Thanks Jon. We noticed this after the game. However with the sheer amount of crits the elves threw out we decided it didn't make a massive difference 🤣
Fun game fellas, at first look at the fleets I thought the twilight kin were gonna take the elves apart but Chris's dice were on fire. The elves definitely seem to be about fishing for crits to help boost what would be relatively low damage from all the light guns. It wouldn't have made any difference to that game but Chris seemed to keenp forgetting to roll for the d3 damage when setting a ship on fire.
I have to admit I thought I had it in the bag when we put our fleets down but rolling that many dice, albeit red means more crits. Chris is a good player too and is hoping to come with us to a future event

What are your thoughts on the new Elf Fleet?
My son and I just played our first game of Armada with lots of proxying. This was great; thanks for sharing!
Hope you enjoyed your first game and thanks for the comment 😀
Being brand new to the hobby and being getting an elf fleet, this was awesome!!
Please do more with the elves!
Glad you enjoyed it.
We will be back to naval carnage soon... 🙂
@@TomsTabletopBunker any hobby videos or bat reps on the new Elven faction would be primo. But I'm just a solo person
I love all your armada content!
Thank you 👍 we love playing this game and will be back in Jan with more 🙂

time stamp 27:00 are you sure the elf ship doesn't get a turn after avoiding collision?
Humm yeah we may have missed this. I'll ask Chris to give the rules a review (he's our rules guy haha)
Where is the elf spell list? I didn't see they had one in the magic deck I got!
What is that massive dragon in the background on the shelf?
I think you mean Chris' Harridon (sp?) It's a ForgeWorld Tyranid monster
Learning the game at the mo, but was there a reason the guy playing the elves keeps moving the ships past the end of the ruler?
Hey thanks for the comment.
He measured from the back of the back to the back is all 🙂

38:00 if your closest target is a sloop you don't need to take a skill test to shoot the next closest ship
Thanks for point out. Totally missed this and it would more than like have helped 😂

Some beautiful Twilight kin ships there.
Thanks for the comments. I really enjoyed painting them up and plan to use them as one of my main fleets (other will be Salamanders)
Where do you get that laser line pointer?
They are from Army Painter and are called target locks. There are two versions though a straight line like ours and a laser dot one for other games.
Your friendly local gaming store should be able to get them in
