Getting on a hot freshwater drum bite in Michigan prespawn is a blast. It's hard to catch anything smaller than 16". I don't eat them. Must be nice to catch some fish to eat!

I grew up catching my own bait so it's normal to me. That's a really cool spot. It looks like a place that a cobia might hang around. You might make a cool video by snorkeling on that wreck.
Awesome video despite all the boats. Never can complain about a hot whiting bite. Iv noticed the secret is out about how great the fishing is in the entire area. At times It's some of the best fishing in the country now. Great for economy but not so much when the hidden gem spots are flooded.

In Florida the best way to scatter the boats is to land a 4 oz sinker right in the middle of a boat. It works!
