    Hello and thank you for all your tutorials that help me a lot and make me learn a lot!
    I have a question, in relation to this tutorial:
    Is it possible to render only the shadow of the plan without using photoshop or multi-pass?
    I would have liked to have rendered the object directly + its shadow but without the full floor.
    Thank you very much for everything.

    Hi! This is great :) How did you get the nice outline lines on everything?

    I dont understand, my materials have textures for the luminant material, like cartoon walls, rocks, tiles etc. I dont know how Cel Shader would work since wouldnt that just replace my texture completely?

    Hey! buddy, thanks for all the awesome tutorials. I'm working with Lasershow software and I try to render just the outlines without all the inside? I have tried to use sketching and the Cel effect, but still can't get it to work...:-( Thanks! again.
    Marty,

    Hi, eyedesyn. I have a question about 'shadow' in cel shader.
    I tried several ways to export only shadow. Finally, I could not find out any ways.
    Is it because it is just 'shader'?
    Is there any other way I don't know?

    @eyedesign - how did you create the dot in the middle of the camera lens? is that just a plane or is that put of streaks/cell shading?

    Great tutorial! Is there a way to isolate this toon shadow in the multi-pass render? Thanks!

    • @eyedesyn

      Just by using object buffers on the floor object, I'm not sure if the toon shadow would show up in the Shadow multi pass. Give it a try!

    Firstly, thank you for the tutorial. My question is, when I apply the shadow from cell shader, I want to set my camera further in the distance and I get this dark ring/ line in the background that is the same color as my shadow. Is there anyway to get rid of that or am I limited to certain camera angles.

      +artyswiss To answer my own question. I checked color and upped the percentage to 125% and it seemed to do the trick.

    Thank you for the tutorial! But i have a question.
    How did you enable the lines ( you said line art style ) on the model ? I started to work on cel shading with help of your tutorials but i can't see the lines.

    Is there a way to blur a little bit that shadow?

    • @eyedesyn
      @eyedesyn  7 лет назад

      For cartoons you wouldnt want a blurry shadow but you'd use a Soft Shadow instead of Hard Shadow I used here

    what if the luminance is an image?

    • @eyedesyn
      @eyedesyn  5 лет назад

      it'll just show that image without shading
