To me Skeleton Crew felt like it had way too many throwbacks to 80s movies. If I wanted to watch Goonies, I would pop in Goonies. No need for all the throwbacks and unoriginal storytelling. To me this show didn’t give me the tingling everyone is getting. Its good for kids and appropriate a show for them to get into the franchise. So far I don’t like the first 2 episodes. Let’s see if the other episodes win me.
