Im quite certain thats the maintenance fees that pay for the buildings upkeep and the facilities. Because its the same thing here in My apartment building . If they owe rent , normally its just between the owners and the tenants . Fyi , They do have to have a commitee ( chairman, secretary ) elected among the owners to run the apartments, make sure it abides by federal law state laws and regulations , and decide whether those units can be turned into airbnb . In the states of Penang and Sabah airbnb is banned 😂 but not in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor the state surrounding it . For the rest of the states i think theres no clear law yet but its de facto legal. I could be wrong but i think airbnb is banned in whole Thailand but you see so many foreigners making videos About their airbnbs there . 😂
Thank you for providing some clarification! Hmm thats very interesting because I see a bunch of Bnbs listed in Penang and Kota Kinabalu. Seems like there is a lot of grey area. My reservation at the Star Residence got canceled because the building is prohibiting airbnb rentals.
Great editing in the beginning with the food shots. I laughed out loud at the fake Goyard tote part. I like Goyard's designs, but they don't have many US stores and you can't buy it online, so it makes it nearly impossible to buy. Another wonderful video!
Thanks Sara! I appreciate you noticing the details. Yeah Goyard is hard to come by in the US. I was just in Hong Kong and they had a store there. There are like 5 Rolex stores here in KL so there is definitely a demographic who is into luxury goods.

@@TedPatrickBaird business is slow there. Hope that merdeka 118 will help it prosper.
Maybe it's the curse of the Pudu prison... Lalaport is one of my favorite malls though@@keangwooichoo6138
@TedPatrickBaird people are superstitious about it
Hmm that's fascinating @@keangwooichoo6138
Now I'm in Malaysia, I may come to meet you in KL before you go to outside of KL city. Will that be alright?
