What you think about weapon mastery in tank role. Like when using a power like Ice. Pop a shield and than weapon as a way of battle tanking or just some extra damage?
I'm flight had no issues tanking all raids haven't done elites yet i run basically the same build but i have pheromone bloom 25% heal super charge instead of two pulls. I'd like to replace hard-light shield but it just seems redundant nothing seems to be worth while besides maybe the immunity smoothing sands. heal super charge is nice iv had it crit 80-90k heals with a slow hot afterwards. When running aftershock build smoothing sands seems pretty important so you don't get tossed around attempting to keep stone skin up. I run two tank artifacts and scrap of the soul cloak to increase the number times i can pop pheromone bloom it's not bad also aoe stun and does damage.
Good guide, pretty solid rotations and tanking advice, can't say I argue anything there. Some things I thought I'd maybe point out: - If you're lazy (like I am) having crystal on bar instead of RSK lets you armory between your builds without having to desummon and resummon a pet, especially with how shit RSK is if you don't desummon before hitting your armory. If you don't want to run fortify golem for Crystal, you can desummon and resummon her between add sections or during boss phases where you can't attack and she'll come back with full power bar, it's a pseudo fortify for her. - For Melee AoE, if you find yourself out of power a lot, the 200 Grimorium Verum will negate the dampen on power regeneration present when pets are active, can be an option in certain scenarios, plus the might buff isn't bad either. - For Tanking gauntlet style bosses like Grail, consider running without Epicenter at all and running Totem. It'll give you a bit of freedom on having to heal Brick since he's a little bitch and blows his blue bar on Jackhammering 75% of the time, usually when you're in the middle of grabbing that Maniac off of someone. Okay I'm done, I don't want to be one of those guys, I just really like Earth. Also ty for advocating for Entomb, fuck Neo. 👍🏻

Mad Wez if you place base items to wall/box in the sparring targets if you have someone stay inside the league hall creator mode the base items can’t be destroyed. Since I’m pc it’s easier cause I can have 2 game windows open at once

Kirbytwins2 I bought lots of power respec tokens when they were on sale. I like to switch and do as much as the guide on live server as I can cause then I can properly test rotations in raids and content rather than just sparring dummies on test server
that is the ability jackhammer, after you clip tectonic break with unstoppable you use the jackhammer power before you go into whirling dervish and clip that with the dashing combos foot mod
Only thing wit superspeed is the tank side cuz on the 1st boss of coue your grounded and you wont be able to use dash attack cuz of the movement mode...

Earth is better single target, the tie in melee, ranged Earth is better as well. Rage's berserk is better than entomb but entomb works from ranged too.
Was thinking of running a dps build around entomb so i have trans, scrap, for my 3rd art you were saying go strat but i want to double check with that should i go strat or gemini in your opinion??
Hey Obsidian, why would I Not use Crystal instead of Robot Sidekick? I seem to get better results with Crystal.. is it because of the reduced Power Regeneration? If so, would using Cyborgs power passive help this?
crystal does less damage then RSK unless you have fortify golem powering it. So that would take up an extra loadout slot and you can't clip with fortify golem so it ends up being a damage loss

Edward Nigma since gu:103 crystal does much weaker damage than robot sidekick like 1/2 if you don’t use fortify golem so if you can’t run both it’s RSK
for precision melee they would, for ranged and single target you'd have to use robot sidekick and then just clip with another damaging power like tornado pull or pebble blast or a for damage because you won't have the PI for crystal
on the older DLC vendors like Gotham Under Siege you can get one for like 15 source marks or something along those lines. Most of the old DLC vendors have them for sale

Brick tanking is more tankier then aftershock tanking would be, since in raids healer would be healing brick so totem wouldn't be needed to keep brick alive so could just feed brick power basically
You still should still be aware of brick hp and what not cause brick tanking in the new alert on that Queen fight is kinda rough with the removal of powers

if you are using multiple sc's are you referring to the 2500 ones like bloom or speed drain etc? if you are using those gemini can be more helpful for AOE but it isn't as good on single target
@@ObsidianChill st might loadout is great but the rotation is wrong especially if you want amulet, running multiple supers on aoe is better then not running them at all and you dont need whirling dervish
@@AggroGaming For the ST rotation I don't factor in Amulet rotations, I believe it's still broken anyways and just like "battle tanking" I don't trust the general viewer to use the amulet properly without putting a strain on their group so I don't plan to show rotations of that nature in my guides, just like I don't show battle tanking. Localized Tremor can be a substitute but its still less damage when looking at the aoe from dervish+dashing combos, also if the player was running strategist over scrap its greater multi hit aoe for the procs. Multiple supers with EoG only works in specific content, mostly just elite and newly released. If you tried running that in FGS regular you'll miss 1/2 your EoG procs from the adds dying before it finishes, then in elite runs the likelihood of you having a sc spammer negates the point of running dual sc's because you'll always have an entomb at your disposal and will be using it off cooldown.

@@closclos4046 Aftershocks is better for Barbatos because he often kills brick with his pulse attacks. For Trigon I wouldn't use aftershocks, its doable but you need a kyte a bit, especially when the eyes spawn because of their damage and Trigon has some heavy hitting melee attacks as brawl/hbs so Brick is better there so you have more freedom of movement and can chain shields easier rather than having to worry to stop to do jackhammer so often

Eog+ scrap still work but there are much better arts and most power require solar amplifier which leaves no space for transformation card plus transformation and strategist card are op as shit 😂
Urban King oh by it really good for healers tho although if u try to solo heal elite u might struggle with 1 healing art I think but u shouldn’t be solo healing most elite anyway

You know, I like watching these vids for their rotations but I actually want to see a full demonstration of the powers, but that seems to be hard to find for this game
I think an annoying thing with so many builds is "must use super speed" with almost every build and I absolutely HATE SS as a movement. I know many other MMOs will completely nerf skills that 'everyone must use' to create build diversity, which I completely understand now after playing DCUO.
if you are in a gem spam group I would take out scrap because you won't need it. Subbing out Gem for Strat when you are just regenning supercharge yourself will be a dmg loss over the entire raid because of how often strat procs on jackhammer crits and if you have a might buff troll which are common these days the strat procs would be even higher
Honestly debris field is way better than that spin movement you have.. in raids I’m constantly getting knocked away and it interrupts my rotation.. and debris field is damage over time while I spam jack hammer.. there’s no need for that spin IN EVERY FUCKN LOADOUT YOU HAVE.

gadgets is equally as good at dps and as troll, you see more dps because dcuo is a dps driven game where more players are focused on damage than support
no, grim is more consistent and as cr increases its damage will increase where venom wrist you only have a set time to deal increased dmg where anything could happen in that set time

Heat vision should be an easy fix. Collect stats for which powers are relying on heat vision for their damage at the high end, and give each pertinent power on-par alternatives to it, via buffing an existing one for each or adding a new one.
I think at least for single target every power uses it. Not to mention completely destroying it will alienate all the folks that spent money to get solar amp to 200 plus making an artifact completely useless.
@@rpt-vl3nq That's a good point, and a corner the devs wheeled themselves into. An awkwardly specific solution would be to allow Solar Amp to be transmuted into another/a new, more power-specific artifact with progression retained.
@@baitposter I agree 100% dude they should have power specific artifacts that create class diversity that makes each power feel strong in its own unique way. As of right now heat vision is best answer on all powers and neo venom boost and robot side kick are best answers on 75% of powers. I haven't been playing for long just what ive noticed as a newer player.

@@familyfum17 Bow smokebomb is a pretty good melee WM combo for damage and it's a quick stun for all adds around you.

What I use for tanking is
Lo..Jackhamer,fortify golem, hard light shield, gem stone shield,earthen grib,brick
Art..mystic,manacles,prototype
yup for sure you have jackhammer for juggles and if brick dies you have stone skin until you resummon. That build works perfectly fine

Everytime I use jackhammer it doesn’t go the full length. I sometimes clip out of my jackhammer straight into a tap melee

Would u throw lasso in ? The heal boost 10% from mystic 7 & the 2% from lasso would be 12% of dps damage
lasso I use when there is a second tank, I am not a fan of using hard taunts outside of a 2 tank situation
Would I run dominance in my generator mod, restoration, or vitalization for an earth dps?
if you never tank then neither will help but if you do ever plan on tanking you would need the dominance generator mod

without fortify it will do less dmg because of power, if you use fortify it will deal more dmg

He has his recommended loadouts in the video. If you aren't going to use Fortify Golem then don't use Crystal.

Brick is awful on eye phaze in coue..gets melted..i was even told to switch powers if i wanted to tank coue..really

do you have power generator mods in or health? You can also try putting in the power efficiency chest mod to help

@@closclos4046 Aftershocks is better for Barbatos because he often kills brick with his pulse attacks. For Trigon I wouldn't use aftershocks, its doable but you need a kyte a bit, especially when the eyes spawn because of their damage and Trigon has some heavy hitting melee attacks as brawl/hbs so Brick is better there so you have more freedom of movement and can chain shields easier rather than having to worry to stop to do jackhammer so often

an aftershocks loadout with jackhammer spam, you can put in unstoppable and entomb SC if you wanted. Depends on the content you're running

To answer the second question, yeah it just cancels the mod. So just run penetrating strikes

Eog+ scrap still work but there are much better arts and most power require solar amplifier which leaves no space for transformation card plus transformation and strategist card are op as shit 😂

I think an annoying thing with so many builds is "must use super speed" with almost every build and I absolutely HATE SS as a movement. I know many other MMOs will completely nerf skills that 'everyone must use' to create build diversity, which I completely understand now after playing DCUO.
Can I use Gemini instead of strat?
if you are in a gem spam group I would take out scrap because you won't need it. Subbing out Gem for Strat when you are just regenning supercharge yourself will be a dmg loss over the entire raid because of how often strat procs on jackhammer crits and if you have a might buff troll which are common these days the strat procs would be even higher
Honestly debris field is way better than that spin movement you have.. in raids I’m constantly getting knocked away and it interrupts my rotation.. and debris field is damage over time while I spam jack hammer.. there’s no need for that spin IN EVERY FUCKN LOADOUT YOU HAVE.

gadgets is equally as good at dps and as troll, you see more dps because dcuo is a dps driven game where more players are focused on damage than support

no, grim is more consistent and as cr increases its damage will increase where venom wrist you only have a set time to deal increased dmg where anything could happen in that set time

Heat vision should be an easy fix. Collect stats for which powers are relying on heat vision for their damage at the high end, and give each pertinent power on-par alternatives to it, via buffing an existing one for each or adding a new one.
I think at least for single target every power uses it. Not to mention completely destroying it will alienate all the folks that spent money to get solar amp to 200 plus making an artifact completely useless.

That's a good point, and a corner the devs wheeled themselves into.
An awkwardly specific solution would be to allow Solar Amp to be transmuted into another/a new, more power-specific artifact with progression retained.
@@baitposter I agree 100% dude they should have power specific artifacts that create class diversity that makes each power feel strong in its own unique way. As of right now heat vision is best answer on all powers and neo venom boost and robot side kick are best answers on 75% of powers. I haven't been playing for long just what ive noticed as a newer player.
