Rick Baskin Layin’ Down The Law plays blues, jazz, r&b, rock n’ roll, soul, motown, pop, reggae, country, and latin. Band leader, Rick Baskin, a trial attorney AND accomplished harmonica player, has shared the stage with Maria Muldaur, Craig Horton (Muddy Waters Band), Harvey Mandell and Jules Broussard.
Rick opened for John Lee Hooker, performing with Hooker’s daughter, Zakiya, at the House of Blues. Rick plays on Freddie Roulette’s latest CD “Jammin’ with Friends” with Pete Sears (Rod Stewart/Jefferson Starship), Rich Kirch (John Lee Hooker) and Steve Evans (Elvin Bishop). Rick also performed at Concord Pavilion VIP Terrace for the Lynyrd Skynyrd Farewell Tour.
