Be careful, gents. I had one many years ago and it has been years of testicular pain. During the procedure, the pain got so bad it made me pass out cold. When I came to, they had my shirt open and would not tell me what had happened. When I asked the nurses, they said they couldn't say; they told me to ask the doctor. Afterwards, the pain in my left nut started immediately and did not decrease for around 5 years. When I confronted my doctor, he said the pain was in my head. He then walked out of the room and would not talk to me again. Since then, any time I ride a bike too long, work out too hard, lift weights, or just play too hard, the pain comes back. Sometimes it is bad enough to make me feel nauseous. It definitely reduced my sex drive and sex was never the same -- NEVER. This ruined not just my sex life but my overall life and marriage.
No needle, no scalple, open ended vasectomy here. Walked out feeling the same as walking in, 6 minutes with my pants down. if I hadn't watched it would be hard to believe anything happend, Shaved and took antibiotic before. Spray anesthesia, ring clamp isolated vas defrens, pointed forceps brought vas out of scrotum, hot cautery of interior of prostate end and divided by the same tool, prostate end pushed back in cord, open end pulled for interposition, other side vas pulled out of the same central hole and divided the same, nothing was removed. No bleeding, briusing, swelling, infection, scab, itching, or ice needed. Three months later tested STERILE !
Getting a vasectomy was the worst decision of my life. I lost my wife and my man hood. I did it a little over 16 years ago at age 27 and I noticed a big difference in the way ejaculation felt and my overall energy immediately afterwards. I lost all my testosterone and it feels weird and dulled in a uncomfortable way when I ejaculate. I can't explain the feeling. You would have to feel it yourself. The only time I feel normal is when I'm taking testosterone. Which I had to start doing at age 29 because my levels were so low. The wrong feeling I get with ejaculation has never went away and I'm now 43 years old. This happens to other men too. Look it up before you talk trash. Please, please look it up before getting one!
@La Table Suisse it depends on the man, 4 months after my vasectomy my Testosterone levels dropped 50%. I showed the paperwork to the Urologist and he said that my hormones dropped because I was 4 months older WTF!!!!!! He knew that was the vasectomy but he lied to protect himself
Who cares? Only thing the Bible says is to fill the Earth, which we have. It also says not to "waste" your seed. If you've had your children, and are a good father, then you haven't. So, go on.
It was traditional. I then had it changed to open. The pain became worse. I then had a reversal. Probably 30% better after reversal. Albeit i think its blocked now as i can feel granulomas at each connection point. I think its nerve damage. Ejaculation changed after 1st operation. It also left me with a hydrocele and very mild varicoceles. I'm considering a SCAB but nothing has helped and im concerned of what side effects that may leave.
@@holistichealthg Because im angry that Vasectomy gets pushed as safe. I live in constant pain. I take Gabapentin, Tapentadol and SSRI's because of the vasectomy. Its a 1 - 2 % chance of chronic testicular pain. It doesn't get mentioned because as you say it will scare people. That's a terrible, possibly the worst reason not to be up front with the risks.
I thought their was no way to ever get my wife pregnant, or even give her good sex all because of vasectomy. But Dr Edoba came into my life and changed everything ☺️ Thanks for everything Doc♥️...

Pain and recovery?
@@aliakhtar3170 That's just it, I never had any pain, the only recovery was avoiding the hot tub and swimming pool for a few days.

Bro take a hike! I know so many guys who said it was the best decision ever with no issues.
@@Mrhdigital3791 the vasectomy made me impotent, scar tissue on my testicles due to the vasectomy trauma
How would you know your testosterone levels are low? Most studies and all experts agree that vasectomy does not affect testosterone levels.

@@tonimartin6167 why would you have your testosterone levels checked just before and after a vasectomy?

It says "Ye shall have vasectomy, god does not care"
The absolute worst thing i ever did was have a vasectomy.
