- I've heard many women say that it is hard for them to stretch their relaxer past six weeks. Here is a style that would help you stretch. The faux braided ponytail is an easy, low maintenance style, that will help you stretch your relaxer. This style lasts at least two weeks. To tie it up, all you need to do is put your scarf or wrap cap on then put your satin bonnet on. That's it!

Do you also have some protective styles for short hair? My hair is a little above my shoulders and layered so I can't do a ponytail...

You can use gel to slick it to make the ponytail work
I tried this and would love to do this; however, the band from the ponytail slips off my ponytail, so I'm uncomfortable wearing it. Should I also use Bobby pins to secure it more?
You may need to tighten the band a bit more
