The vocalist is Sasha he's a good guy, with a great personality. His career goes all the way back to the 90s and he already played at pinks wedding with his rockabilly side project dick brave and the backbeats, obviously inspired by nick cave and the bad seeds. Next reaction put on a mullet wig would suit u haha.

this all started when they got bored during covid lock down and started making tik tok shorts of hypa hypa in different styles. the fans loved it and begged for full songs of the new versions, so they reasched out to other artists to collaborate with.
mc thunder 1 and 2 are great videos as well, they kinda remind me of some of the beastie boys songs with a bit more rock added into the mix.
Of course do the other versions. One tip, Sarah may not like the WBTBWB version...

Sasha (Sascha Schmitz from Soest) is a popular german pop singer. this version could even be played in mainstream radio.
This could legit be released as a dance pop single.

Just a small hint: In the 90s and in the 2000s Sasha (the blond mullet with the red jacket) was very famous in Germany. One of his greatest hits was "If you belive" (cheesy as hell :-D). He also had a project with his aslter ego "Dick Brave".
I just looked up that song you mentioned and am a little bummed that it's in English. Eskimo Callboy sings in English, Sasha sings in English, we need another Falco who leaned in and just ripped the lyrics out in German. Nena and her 99 Luftballons. God, there are so few artists who sing in German, I think I named both of them, the two that made it over to the US, anyway. Oh wait, Rammstein. Still, I want more.

in the late 1980s before his career took of as a disco singer.

Haha, no the mullets are not in all their videos. I am still new to Eskimo Callboy, it has been almost 1 year since I first heard them. They have other great songs that are not funny like this... Prism, Crystal, and Hate/Love. I am still going through their catalog so I am sure they have others.
Some of their other funny songs are MC Thunder I & II, and Muffin Purper-Gurk. They do have behind scenes/ making of videos on their RUclips channel as well :)

i hope you are reacting to all the hypa hypa version, i would love it! and i loved your reaction! btw, if you want to listen to some seriouse german metal, i recommend finsterforst, they are dark, hard and they incooperate accordion and gregorian chantings into pagan metal, i recommend the song " mach dich frei" i am pretty sure you will like it. so much love and thx again for your reaction video, i enjoyed it mega tons, right after i came home from nightshift.:D

Speaking of twitch streamer, they already collaborated with handofblood who is the actor in their video Mc thunder 1 and 2. He's also in the end scene of hypa hypa. One of Germans biggest streamer :P
Hes more RUclips/content creator than Streamer i guess. But in his company are lot of full time streamers.

The look they went for is very western european in the 80's/90's. The blond singer looks alot like a famous german soccer player this way.
Also there is a Dutch TV show with 2 movies now called "new Kids" the look could also be taken from that. Since it became very popular over here and i know it also branched to germany.
Korpiklaani is a Finnish folk/metal band that has recorded multiple versions of their song Beer Beer, some with guests as well....just sayin'. Cheers!
